i just finished The Spy Coast by Tess Gerritsen. it's about retired CIA spys living in Maine and the past comes back to haunt them, and turns into the friends using their spy skills to solve the murders. It's a good read. I also finished The Keeper of Happy Endings by Barbara Davis. This one goes back to WW2 and present day, so there is a lot of present/past chapters, but that is how the characters get their depth. The main Character is a french bridal dressmaker with "witchy" powers and the twists of fate that bring her to America all alone during the war. It's a light fun read.
