I’m feeling a sense of sadness, I lost my daughter two days after Christmas in December 2017. I remember going to the Chapel 💒 in the hospital and talking to God, I asked him to take care of my little girl until I get there. I know my daughter is in the Arms of the Angels 👼🏽

Months ago, I suffered from personal pain that I couldn't let go and I kept on asking God to heal me, telling Him to help me in between cries. I thought I was making a progress by burying it inside me for half a year. 3 days before my birthday, I believe God sent me this movie to redeem my faith in Him and prove me that He is at work despite every hurt. God is alive. Trust His ways for He is always with you.

This song reminds me of forgiveness everytime I hear it. When we can't forgive we hurt ourselves by feeling angry, feeling hate and feeling pain. God promises us that this walk is not for us to walk alone but alongside Him. He promises that once we forgive the burdens we carry will be lifted and we will start healing. Forgiveness is not an easy thing to do but it breaks chains and sets you free no longer having an attachment to whatever was causing your pain. Forgiveness is very powerful...it will set you free.

I live in Thailand. I am Buddhist. I watched this movie on 24 April never knowing that it is purely about Christianity. After seeing it i suddenly messaged to my sister to watch this movie because she is a strong Christian. She answered me that she had already watched it and loved it so much. This movie very moved me from inside about true kind of universal love which i think it can truly cure this world and humanity to live in peace and harmony altogether. I love this concept very much because i am sure that it can stop the war of humankind. True love of Universal.

The Shack brought me here. Four years ago in July my uncle was taken away from me in a motorcycle accident. Like Missy, his life was cut just as it was starting to begin. He was only 38 years old. Since I grew up in a Catholic/Christian household, many of my family members turned to God. I couldn't. I was so angry. I couldn't eat, couldn't sleep, I had severe PTSD which caused me to make stupid choices. I didn't believe God was there for my uncle. I felt that if there were a God, He would have let him live, and no deer would have ran out into the road in the first place. I kind of stumbled upon The Shack coincidently. I saw it was coming out in theaters. I didn't know much on what it was about but I heard of it before since it was a book, so I bought the book to read it before I saw the movie. When I got home I realized it had religious undertones. I was curious though, so I continued read on. Not even a week later I finished it. It usually takes over a month for me to finish a book, so I was really surprised by myself. The book helped me heal, and to understand. I harbored so much anger and sadness in my heart over something completely out of my control. The book made me a little more of a believer. I recommend it to everyone, especially if they're grieving. It kind of gives you something to believe in, you know?
