2 Theories: 1. Mono and the glitch kids are portions of the Thin Man. The Thin Man is trapped in the tower, so he somehow managed to release pieces of himself through the TVs. After being released the pieces (aka Mono and co.) needed to find a way to release the real Thin Man. However, releasing the pieces made the Thin Man weaker and by embracing the glitch kids, Mono became stronger. Thus Mono defeated the original Thin Man and as a piece of the original, he later became the new Thin Man. 2. Six didn't recognize Mono. For the entirety of the game, Mono had a bag over his head. Thus Six never knew how he looks under it. So in the end, when she decided to let him fall, she didn't know it was Mono but rather a stranger who destroyed her music box

It's not a time loop. It's a generational *cycle*. That's why the Lady's apartments have so much memorabilia from past lives. That is why it could very well be a previous thin man who hung himself in the Maw. That is why the world has had so much time to decay and deteriorate. Little Nightmares is a story about children falling into the same trauma as parental figures and becoming them.

What if the doctors nightmare is he couldn’t save someone precious to him and than that person died so now he is trying to make people that cannot die as it states in his description he is trying to create the perfect human but the person that he cared about still haunts his memories and won’t leave until his work is done

I've never been one for the time loop theory, I just think the signal tower always needs a human body to act as their proxy, so when the thin man dies the signal tower seeks out a human with corelating powers to become the new thin man

So the people of the household are: Grandpa, stuffed grandma, mother, son, Tall son with bow tie, and Hunter/father. For some reason the bow tie son isn’t home, but we can see he has a letter and his briefcase and a picture of himself there. Maybe he was out setting/checking traps. But when he returns home, he finds the only living member of his family left, his father (the hunter) dead, he grieves and then Pack’s up to go on vacation at the Moore. 6 stows away in the bag, then the guy hangs himself while on the Moore being too grieved with what happened. That’s why he had the letter.

Imagine the developers make a first person mode. But it can be played if you finish the main story, you can just choose first person mode. That would be cool because Little Nightmares game is meant to be a 2D/3D type thing

Just seeing the first part of the video made me want to watch the whole thing

I have a theory about the hanging man. Maybe the thin man never left the tower, and was able to send a piece of his soul to any place he wanted to, using a lot of his "energy" and weakening himself in the process. He could have done this and went to the maw, and spoken with the lady. They could have remembered all they did together, and be slightly influenced by the eye and grow together, but never being able to fully be together. This would explain why he lost to mono. Maybe when mono defeats him, the rest that is left flees to that soul, and he is so overtaken by loss, and that he failed, along with the fact that all that is left of him is a tiny portion of his soul, he kills himself, and the Lady is able to consume the portion of Six's soul that was taken, giving her a bit extra soul, meaning when Six counsumes the Lady's soul, it isn't the previous lady's soul that she takes, she reclaims her own. This would make more sense to the time loop theory, because why wouldn't the first Six just eat everything to get her soul back? This way, the first Six would have started the maw, eaten a lot of things, but not eaten the second Six because her soul was filled by the soul stolen by the Thin Man/Hanging Man. Another thing is the chair might have been linked to him, so a piece of his soul is with it at all times, meaning the tower would function even when he left it, and when he was defeated by mono and was sent to the other portion of his soul, the chair went with him. The theory that the part of his soul flees is kind of supported by how he dissappears, and there is no body, nothing left. all that was destroyed was almost all of the hanging man's soul, driving him to kill himself knowing there is nothing else that can be done. This explains the hanging man, and that is my theory.
