We are officially leaving Thailand after 2 years and moving to the Philippines!
In this video we show you the fight process plus our 5 hour layover in the Changi Airport in Singapore!
✈️ Here is the list of requirements at the time to enter the Philippines:
⁃ Must be fully vaccinated
⁃ Covid Vaccination Certificate (WHO International Certificate of Vaccination or Prophylaxis)
⁃ VaxCertPH or National/state digital certificate of the foreign government which has accepted VaxCertPH
⁃ Negative ANTIGEN test 24 hours before departure
⁃ RT-PCR IS NO LONGER REQUIRED!
⁃ Passport valid for at least 6 months at the time of arrival
- Proof of insurance
- Proof of accommodation
⁃ Return or outbound ticket to country of origin or next country destination
The process was relatively easy, make sure you double check all your required documents and everything should be smooth from there - our experience was very smooth!
Thailand to Singapore took approximately 1 hour 40 min on Scoot airlines. We then had a 5 hour layover in Singapore which was a little anticlimactic as we arrived after midnight and everything was closed! We were then super delirious for 5 hours before we boarded Scoot airlines again for a 3 hour and 40 min flight to Manila!!
Travel day took 15 hours in total! SHEESH we were destroyed after that!
⚠️The ONE HEALTH PASS is very important for entering Manila - after you receive your negative Antigen result make sure to fill in your one health pass online before you board your flight - it can be filled up to 3 days before departure.

A lifetime is never enough to travel the Philippines, especially the 7,000 + islands existing inside this small country. You'll both discover the beautiful culture, places, and the best people. I'm filipino and have lived in Bangkok for 3 years before moving to NZ in 2019. I hope you guys give my country the same respect that you gave Thailand. I also hope you did your research before making the move. Most foreigners complained about Thai Visa and the immigration but you will find that in my country, visas and the immigration is very straightforward. No 90 days report and all that hassles the thai immigration have. You might also find that our diet is mostly meat and rice. The weather or temperature is better than thailand. Also best of luck and enjoy my country!

Maligayang pagdating sa Pilipinas ! If you were amazed at the beaches and rock formations in Thailand, you will hold your breath when you will be in Coron and Palawan . Don't miss Honda Bay, Port Barton (take a day tour from there) and El Nido (also take a tour from there). But the best tour is from Coron. A M A Z I N G !!!

Hi Shev and Dev, Singapore is one of the busiest country and I guess it is because of the cv19 situation why it is so quiet down there. Okay, new favorite moments: Devan strapping the bear into an airplane seat and trying to give him a safety demonstration and Shevelle running back and forth in the Singapore airport! 🤣 I miss being in the same country as you but am very excited for your new adventure! And thanks for the good information about the Changi airport, because I'll be there next month and now know that I'll need to fill out a health declaration before I get there so that I can go into town during my layover! (It's during the day.) I'm surprised that the airport doesn't have some all-night restaurants and souvenir shops, there are a lot of connections through there in the middle of the night.

The Philippines is very diverse with so many activities to do, so many places to see, so many types of food to eat. (If you like mangoes, you MUST try the fresh Guimaras mangoes from the Guimaras island._) Check out the Masungi Natural Reserve in Batangas. That's just about a 2 hour drive from Manila and while in Batangas, might as well check out Taal volcano and try the buko (coconut) pie and the bulalo (bone marrow) soup. If you want to escape the heat, then travel north to baguio. You want an off road experience then check out Mr. Pinatubo or take the ATV and drive to Mount Mayon. I hope you enjoy your time in the Philippines.

Hello Shev and Dev how wonderful you're making in your young lives these wonderful and enriching journeys. When in Philippines are sure to explore as much of the more than 7,000 islands. When you're ready to do that check out Camiguin Island in the south one of the tiniest islands in the country as.well as the most volcanic island in the world )over 7 volcanoes!). Above all the island is a little paradise of very few tourists. You can easily fly to there via Cebu or Manila. Have a blast in the Philippines!

Hey Guys! When you are fully rested, can I suggest travelling not only to Boracay of which i'm sure you're both familiar with, but jump on a bus to travel north of Manila to The Hundred Islands National Park which is the first national park and a protected area located in Alaminos, Pangasinan. It takes around 6 hours by bus, but it worth it 🙂 Have fun in Manila and the Philippines
