Welcome to what I MIGHT be calling "Theorycraft", where I research possible theories here with you! Today I am taking a look at an analog horror series on KZfaq called Gemini Home Entertainment. It reminds me of Local58 and I loved that! Let's see if I can find anything to theorize about and let me know in the comments what YOU think I should call this theory/reacting series!

The fact that the channel is called Gemini is also a point towards these aliens being bodysnatchers or doppelgängers, because the zodiac sign for Gemini is twins

Yeah that’s really interesting, especially considering when you watch the video about the solar system, you notice the logo for Gemini Home Entertainment is Neptune with an Eye and an Iris

@@rjb8037 i would say stereotypically rather than generally, although in this context it doesn’t matter too much, mostly because astrology isn’t very accurate when you’re only going by someone’s sun sign (aka the basic sign most people think of when they ask you what your zodiac sign is)

I don’t like that when the woodcrawlers steal voices, they scream. That means that if you ever heard REAL screaming, you’d have to leave the person screaming behind because they could be fake people or woodcrawlers. That’s a terrifying, but would-be effective tactic to stop people from helping each other during the invasion.

yes that is very interesting. That's why even if you survive, it doesn't really matter since most people with die and if you're alone, you can't really repopulate and humanity dies. It truly is an effective method to ending a race.

The red string humanoid almost looks like the circulatory system. Like all the arteries and veins in the human body, maybe the nervous system to add to it.

I thought that the red string was from the nests and they used the string to digest people and the nutrients would be sent through the string to the nest where the developing woodcrawlers would consume it, getting ready to take over a house and they don't even leave the bones behind. I also think that the name gemini means something else, gemini means twin and the woodcrawlers aim is to become human like doppelgangers, so they want to become our twins and take over the planet Lol

during the Christmas eve party I think it was trying to imitate Santa in a way. It landed on the roof, it tried to talk "ho ho ho" "Mary Christmas", and in invaded thru the roof / fireplace. Maybe it was trying to give the prey a false sense of security by following the kids tradition but it just makes people who know the tales are fake to be scared.

The whole thing with the “red strings” looks as if the bug like creatures are taking over the body, but leaving out the parts that they don’t deem necessary. In this situation I feel like the “red strings” are the nerves in the body that the insectoids don’t find importance to them as why would they need to feel pain if they’re only using the shell as a cover. The whole “people snatching” thing makes sense when talking about the insertion of the proboscis and taking over the body.

Absolutely continue. This series is iconic, and a would-be classinc and there's a lot there. A LOT. It's a completely solo creator who made a game in a few months for his small community that didn't gain much traction initially. There is SO MUCH depth in this series.

It also does a great deal to define what Analog Horror is, as its distinctly not just a Local 58 copycat. Gemini Home Entertainment is a instructional VHS distribution company, which handles video's from multiple sources.

I know he was starting from the end, but he WAS told to do that by the people on the sidelines. They recommended it. I dunno if everyone really missed or caught that detail but I ought to mention that. He was told to start the series from the latest, and then continue from the beginning.

Contrarily, you're not alone Matpat, I know what a proboscis is because of flies and mosquitos and am kinda surprised it's not more common knowledge 🤣 It's so interesting what random pieces of knowledge can be so well known to some people, that many others never encountered.

Proboscis to me is absolutely butterfly thing. It honestly never occurred to me that it involved mammals at all. So even though I know what a proboscis is, I still learned what a proboscis is!

I live near a butterfly garden so I immediately knew what it meant and freaked out at the proboscis mention because I did not like the mental image of a person sized, if not bigger, creature using that to insert something in people. This series is so interesting yet so hard for me to watch cause it creeps me out.

I noticed the name Remy Abode is used in every video as credits. Remy means 'oarsmen' which makes me think of someone travelling, and Abode means home. Please do more series like this, I love hearing/seeing ARGs.

@@jaziliynn While yes it's the name of a monkey, it's also the name of a medical condition. The reason I gave the warning is so Lich wouldn't get startled (I'm not saying the deformity is disgusting, however it can be startling for some since it messes up the face).

I've watched this video like 5 times now and I'm totally obsessed haha. It's honestly more awesome than watching other people react to the Gemini series. Theres just something so nice about reacting to something spooky and theorizing about it at the same time and looking into things deeper. I totally love this, and its even better that its gemini home entertainment cause I love this type off horror. I just hope we're gonna see more of this reaction "theory crafting" and I'm kinda hoping for more gemini home entertainment too. I love what you guys do man.

My theory is that the aliens originally look like the strange red thing in the first video, which is how they are able to creep into houses. The larger aliens, like one called Mary, is how they look after they've merged with a human. I'm pretty convinced this is the case after seeing the last video where they are called woodcrawlers, and they had small footprints, while Mary was huge and wasn't called a woodcrawler.

I think they both just happen to have the ability to be fake people. I remember somebody suggesting that perhaps skinwalkers are just better at body snatching than woodcrawlers, seeing as woodcrawler fake people seem to be much less capable.

Should have seen other stuff like the lost space ship or the video saying not to answer a call for help as a guy walks aimlessly through a field like hes on drugs pausing and screaming help. Shits what makes this actually horrifying compared to early mandela catalogues being way to tryhard with its upfront photoshop. This is simple, direct, and fucking terrifying. The aforementioned satelite video reigns in the question on the theory that we werent the only species, we just miraculously survived a universe spanning extinction for some unknown reason, but now we brought the reason it died to our doorstep.

i honestly think that the nests mentioned could be reffering to the red tendrils (maybe roots?) in most videos as the mining video says ''the crop matures''. this could be the woodcrawlers or the wierd tentacle creatures (in the ocean video) because in the mining video, the wierd tentacle creatures are seen right after the nest. this might be linking to the woodcrawlers invading homes and possibly creating those roots so they can invade more space.

Battington’s Harmony and Horror VHS series is pretty theorizable and terrifying in my opinion; lots of main vids, secret vids, codes, files, etc. Especially because he just premiered the first video of Season 2. On the same level as Squimpus and Martin Walls’s videos too!

Fun fact: Ovipositor is the name of the tube that some insects have that allows them to lay their eggs in their prey. It's not a proboscis. So if the alien was using only it's proboscis, we would know that it is not laying its eggs in the human. However, I read from another person's comment that the alien is not using its proboscis but is rather entering through the human's proboscis.
