I was a spouse to an older man I concur with what he says. My husband sends me to the store for frosted flakes pop tarts Tony’s pizzas and other Food I would feed my 11-year-old. They do not grow up the only way they do grow up though is that they were good paying jobs and work hard fix things around the house so in that respect yes marrying an older man is worth it you just have to understand that they will revert back to a child when they are home.

I have literally just had this conversation with my 20 year old daughter who was complaining about her boyfriend being childish. Us men never really grow up, I’m fast approaching 50 and still love a plectra of things I loved in my childhood. As you say we just learn to act mature in public 🤷‍♂️🤣😂

I'm 5ft 2in tall 135lbs. My husband is 6ft 5in and 330lbs he had heavy duty playground equipment in our back yard before we had kids. Just for him and his biker friends from HS. His man cave looks like a teen/college boys room. Justice League decor, big screen tv, every video game system including Atari and OG Nintendo, collection of action figures legos (one of his passions) man sized bunk beds. Mini fridge, pool table and wet bar. If i open a bag of chips, soda, or snack cakes they appear.

0:45 I was subbing as a Sunday School teacher for some older, 60s, women. They were making some comments about my clothing "style". The eldest spoke on my defense: "He's not married. He's not had any trailing." I was in my 40s. She was correct. Still is, because I'm still not married.

If one judges maturity based upon dietary choice then one needs to reevaluate themselves on a fundamental level and make some internal adjustments.. like getting that stick out of that place where the sun doesn't shine.

Maturity is overrated... I'm in my 50's and would happily buy, heat, and share dino nuggies with my guy while snuggled up watching a movie, or maybe sharing a plate of them as we play video games. :-)

Gotta love those type of people who get on the internet to complain and moan about the choices you made, and the consequences you are receiving now because of those choices. So now, you've embarrassed yourself, and your husband also. And I'm sure you have other family members who saw this and are embarrassed also. No one thinks about the consequences that come with someone putting out all their personal business on the internet 1. The internet is for ever. 2. You arent the only person affected by sharing to much online. 3. Depending on what you say, and about who, it can also affect your family members as well. People really don't think ahead and/or think about others before airing everything about their lives online, and then wonder why people were hurt by what you did or said.

When a man stops being "childish", thats when you have to worry. The silence lasts for a few, and then they go all out, and then a dead sound can be heard.

My husband is younger than me so I say "men" in general are not more mature and agree on the 12 year old part. Especially when they are full time fire fighters and the antics, they play on each other during "down time" after station duties are done and they have blessed relief from not have back to back to back runs of fire or medical. It also doesn't help that I would end up being involved in some of these antics if called upon. There are times women don't grow up either. lol

Just the other day i broke and reverted back to my untrained days when i saw that bowl of delicious chicolate chip cookie dough. I couldnt help it.... there it was... my wife guarding the bowl as if it held gold. I had to think quick if i were to gain access to this treat. I grabbed the closest diversionary tool i could think of. A spoon... i threw it down the hall and its clattering made enough noise for her to go and investigate. NOW!!! I GOT UP, RAN INTO THE KITCHEN, took a big scoop of the mixture with another spoon and went to the office shut the door and enjoyed the tasty goodness of success. In case you men out there are wondering, i was caught after the fact. The scoop gave it away, it was a teaspooned size swath cut right thriugh the middle of the bowl. So whats the lesson? Always have a plan to combat the cookie dough bowl tyrant... just saying...
