Found your channel through autism family. Connor is really good at the piano. I found their channel because I haven't seen mild autism depicted very well and can relate to Connor. I hope you see hope in the older Ian and Connor that things can improve. Your kids are awesome and I hope you know that kids in general develop hopefully the boys do start talking. Allister is funny and all 3 have a big heart.

Your channel is the Best !!!! It makes me feel..... Normal/ completely understood. I have watched a couple of your episodes and the "Mothers Day" episode. It made my heart so happy that I cried. I am a mother of two autistic and nonverbal identical twin girls. They are 4 years old. We have another 15month old baby girl and another baby girl coming in June. I am so blessed to have found your family online. Thank you so much and stay awesome.

It's not so bad when kids are fooling around with the piano & they actually know how 2 play it!! My kids would bang the keys & play nonsense that can get quite annoying real fast!

Ian did talk about cars, and Ezra still doesn’t let go of his cords and cables very often. We try to help him have time without them, usually while he eats. And I was so surprised when I heard Connor!

ha! YES, we actually just tuned it about a week after we shot this video. So I'm happy to say that it sounds a lot better now! LOL!

Mark plays the piano. and Marie is learning as well. Thats a fun idea. The only thing with music, is we have to be so careful with copyright issues. We'll have to think of something though

I am curious what level of Autism that the autism family has ? I know Simon has level 1 and Ezra has level 3. I am also a level 1 or High Functioning

I have watched them for a very long time and I know that Connor have level 1, Ian and Alistair have higher but dont know if they have 2 or 3.

That trampoline is a complete health hazard. Who has a trampoline without a safety net and a soft covering of the springs. Is this normal in the US? I'm in Germany and many many people have big trampolines like that in the garden, but I have never seen one like this without a covering and a net anywhere. It's just so dangerous.

Sounds like a nightmare for both the adults and the autistics as some autistics are unpredictable and most hate noise I’m high functioning autistic

Sorry but the one thing that bugs me is when people say i have an autistic child, or i have a special needs child... no!! u have a child with autisim or a child with special needs, the child is not their diagnoses they are a child first... only reason i say this is i have disabilities and if my parents referred to me as my disabilities before saying this is my daughter id be insulted, we are far more then just our diagnoses. I no you no that but i just thought id mention it incase you didnt think of that. Imagine if you had say depression and your husband introduced you to everyone as his depressed girlfriend.. may not bother some but to most of us with any type of disability we would rather not be constantly reffered to as our disabilities.

I used to think that way too, and I’m sure many people with Autism feel the same way. I watched a Ted talk with an Autistic adult speaking and his point of view was quite the opposite, explaining how he feels Autism is part of his identity and that he’s not ashamed of it. He even gave the example of, “you wouldn’t call someone who is Gay, he has Gay” I honestly don’t know what is better… Autistic child or child with Autism. But hearing that Ted talk made me realize that there are many adults out there who don’t see their autism as a disability at all but as an identity simply a different way of experiencing the world. I know many people don’t agree on this subject. And, you are correct that “child with Autism” is the correct term medically, so we often will say both terms on our channel. (I guess we make everyone upset that way) 🤷‍♀️ but thank you for sharing your opinion. It’s appreciated. And I can see your point of view. ❤️
