We have worked so hard to take our abandoned farm in Northern Portugal from derelict and overgrown, to a thriving homestead, and in this timelapse video we show you every step. We've been here nine months now, and we're finally at the stage where we feel like we have control of the space and can really start getting going with the growing! Wow 9 months already it was your biggest "New Baby" that you inherited from Portugal. Thank-you for more of your "criadura" did not know all the details. Always a JOY every Sunday to see you all. Hi fellas I hope you satisfied with your house and land 👍 I'm a portugues citizen but actually I living here in North of Norway 🇳🇴 😊 and Portugal it's a great country unfortunately the political system are a crap and much corruption ALL the system are badly 😝😡 I miss my country just because I have my parents there a reason I visited them when I can 😊 I NEVER EVER change NORWAY to Portugal 😊 anyway I wish you a good luck and stay away from that bastards politics and over around 😕🤔 Portugal great for holidays and a rich people 😊 cheers from North of Norway 🇳🇴 👍👍

@@jorgefonseca9225 you have to move to Moldova, Europe, to see the real crap in the government and politicians rules. They make 3-5-20K $/ month. And people have pension 50-100$/ month. For 2,5 million people of the country we have a lot of judges, prosecutors, police and yet 100 “deputats” (like senators) who are getting paid a lot and privileged, just for sitting in the office and talking to each other’s! You have to see their houses how big they are and yet breakfast and lunches of the best food at work for a little money.

@@lohijohn In one way, it`s insane to see how many people just take all the farmers for granted and assume they are making millions.......It`s not just the Uk or EU, but around the globe. In Sweden (where we live) there is a huge problem with littering of metalcans and dipers (??) into the meadows and then the cows eat it.

To see those 9 months in one video like this, you can see so well, how much progress you all made on the farm. From that first look, when everything was overgrown till now with a beautiful lawn and the start of the vegetable garden. The house with the new kitchen and the start of the guesthouse. It's all been a wonderful journey and I for one am happy to be able to follow along and see this place turn into the Newby Paradise. Hugs and love.

What a wonderful recap! It’s so important to take a step back and appreciate how far we’ve come! “Living the present” is very important but we forget that the present only exists because of the past, just has the future will be a consequence of the present time. As a retired painter, when you get your lumber, lay it out on horses and use a pump sprayer for thin sealer and spray all side of the lumber on the horses after drying start cutting and assembling deck. Use a brush to seal cuts as you saw and install you'll find it faster and easier than brushing just the top exposed edges. It's the unexposed that'll get rotted first.
