Let it be known, I rarely toss the first steeping. most are worthy of drinking. sometimes if the tea may be a bit funky, I would rinse it first. Most look pretty good. Some I have found some feathers and the random hair, at least I know it is authentic. The chat is great, as a kid I had trouble going to sleep, my upstairs room was dark at the end of the hall, the house would creek and settle, I thought it was footsteps coming to my room.

Ah! You got your hands on a very nice Yiwu cake! Yiwu (pronounced ‘ee-woo’) is a very nice region for Puerh. You got what appears to be a 300 mg cake,I’m glad you enjoy it. Try a tea blend,perhaps with an oolong,you might be pleasantly surprised! I recommend a basic 50/50 blend of oolong and ripe Puerh Take it from there,get creative,a triple blend has surprises,for example,a bit of Darjeeling adds a note of,well,majick
