Jake deleted his video due to backlash but basically a summary of his video is " Yeah, we broke up, but I'm doing great, I'm going to tour with my band, I live in this big fancy house and because I am such a great guy I am paying for Kaya to stay in a tiny studio where she isn't actually allowed to be staying in and doesn't even have running water". He was smiling the entire time too you could tell he'd already completely moved on from Kaya even after being together for over a decade. I feel like his ego has gone to his head. Because he uploads more frequently he has passed Kaya in followers and views even though his videos are complete garbage of him reacting and making fun of baby bats on tiktok. He also has a tour coming up which has probably made him feel like he is somehow above Kaya all of a sudden. You can tell all he cares about anymore is his own career and becoming rich and famous.

11 years. 11 years of kayas life was spent with jake. she went into the relationship practically a kid. he was almost all she knew. she spent her days with him. and nights. coming home to him for 11 years. being able to run to him for 11 years. now she has no one, at least to the extent she had jake. it’s a different feeling when your s/o is no longer your partner and you can no longer pick up the phone and call them, or lay next to them in bed. it’s a very lonely feeling. i can feel her heart is truly broke. i hope things will look up soon. but i will admit, it’s a lengthy process. but it will be worth it. and you won’t even remember it in years to come.

I was in a 9 year relationship, straight out school too, when me and my ex broke up. I always thought I was a pretty independent person, but my first week living on my own was rough. I realized I wasn't as independent as I thought. It takes time but it does get easier and better. I'm glad my ex broke up with me. It gave me a chance to grow and discover more about myself, that I probably would have never knew if we had stayed together.

It’s been 27 years since I felt someone threw me away after many moons together. It still hurts. I ended up doing a tour of psychiatric wards. Please take extra care of yourself and take time to heal. Get any help you can. You will get to a better place and life will bloom again and you along with it. Don't apologize for being "cold." The way he presents the break up is much colder, acting like it was a mutual decision when it's clearly not. Keep your chin up, and take things one day at a time. And please contact your friends when you're struggling! I'm bad at this myself, but isolating yourself will only make you feel worse 💜💜💜
