I took acting classes starting in elementary school, and in one program, they drilled us on articulation at the beginning of each class by making us over enunciate words. Maybe this is Shayne’s acting training kicking in.

Honestly, my disabled ass thought nothing of it when they cut away from him initially, but then realized it's not the usual for most when they cut back to his camera to watch it... That's just how you prevent spills when your hands aren't cooperating!

I love how everyone works well trying to say what they hear in the game and make it competitive and funny at the same time. Saige/Shayne and Courtney/Damien worked well in teams and when they relayed words to each other. Really fun Board af please play this game again soon. 👏

I get that editing had to happen to cut the run time down, but one of the best parts of these kinds of games is when a round is over you tell the person what ones they missed. It's like closure. So I missed that on most of the rounds here.

Aside from Saige just being pretty good at this, I'd say a lot of the phrases that took little time are phrases they might be used to hearing regularly. Subconsciously your brain recognizes the shapes and movements made for familiar sounds. This game also kinda shows the intricacies of talking/communicating, and that there are many shapes and gestures that are similar, but the addition of sound is what separates them. And now imagine being deaf.
