I need backup on this, is it super messed up that the whole movie is Miley's life and relationships being stressed to the breaking point by the double life and lies of Hanna Montana, until finally she makes the decision to take off the wig and reveal herself, cathartically merging her two personas and becoming a more complete person free of deception....only for everyone to immediately plead with her to put the wig on and resume the lie? Like, jesus. Miley straight up bared her soul to these people and they all rejected her and demanded she maintain the illusion.

!!! i was a superfan of this show growing up and rewatching it recently made me realize they never really made any actual choices. Like biggest example is mileys love life, she'll go thru a 2 part arc of deciding between two boys and then after she picks like 2 episodes later shes like man i hate being single ://// with no mention of what happened to the guy she chose?? and crowley corners knowing her secret is mentioned like MAYBEE once in the series and thats like the only reference to fhe movie i noticed at alll

The movie is almost a premonition for how "permanently shedding the Disney mold" got her hate online... this movie is like a wish fulfillment for people who wanted her to be "Hannah Montana" forever for the fans (Side Note: Miley's latest album is FIRE)
