I think delaying your trip if you can't get the necessary papers for Lola would be your best bet because she is part of the family and number two it's going to cost you a hell of a lot more to go there and back to bring her back. Sending prayers that everything works out you look so stressed but I totally understand

Pretty common problem; hair gets caught in the feet part of onesies and sometimes wraps around toes. My neighbors brought her baby to me; she held the baby and we used oil and I carefully cut the hair away from her baby's toe. Very scary to do, and very painful for the baby. Be sure to turn the onesies inside-out after washing and drying them, to check the foot part for any stray hair! Glad she's okay. 💙

We’ve been there. Two boys and I have long hair (shorter hair the first time around after I had it cut - after J’s toe looking like Sadie’s - we treated at home). Hair tourniquets can happen all over. Toes, fingers and nappy area always get a thorough check. Not had so many issues with my youngest but with my eldest, he seemed to be a hair magnet!

@April This amazingly didn't happen to me until my 4th. By that point I thought I knew everything. It really caught me off guard! He was screaming his head off. Luckily I had a friend who's an ER doc who told me to check his toes...

Forge that Bitch you got the papers. Lol I'm serious. PANAMA WONT KNOW TRUST ME. Any phone numbers for people who signed use the person signature and say they signed before Christmas doubt they will remember every person who did papers for? Not like they confirm every signature by calling all phones of people who sign but may be hard to get that seal or stamp or get it notarized unless you know a notary well. Most people are close to someone who notarized, you got to do it right though research the real ones or it's not a good idea.

I can’t be the only one who cringed when he was dancing with the baby. Her head was just bobbing around. Babies are are extremely fragile and movements like that can really cause harm.

My youngest also had a hair tourniquet on her toe. I had never heard of it before (after raising kids for over ten years) so now I tell EVERY new parent about it! My cousin teaches a newborn class and she has added it to her lesson since. Got to check those onesies and socks! Glad she’s okay! Hugs to you, momma and daddy!

When I tried to contact the Panamanian Consulate in NYC I was faced with too long of awaiting time. Then I went to the consulate in Philadelphia, PA! Best move ever. Called first, made appointment, then walked in-walked out with my paperwork.

I am glad Kaylee is staying positive some one needs too. You guys are a great team and you got this. I believe it will work out for you. Plus you have a bonus in your pocket so if everything doesn't work your mom will keep her and take wonderful care until you can get. Also they will give you a chance to come back and check on your building here. You can always find positive in anything as long as you try. You guys are amazing and I believe in both of you. Just try to stay positive and life will keep being good to you.

Yeah bringing a dog here is soooo hard. My husband went back to get our dog. The trip was supposed to be a week and it ended up taking 3+ weeks. It was so hard to get everyone coordinated. Good luck!

It’s like leaving your child behind. I just lost my guy Diesel Oct 28th he was 12, but I don’t think I was away from him more then a week and he was with Family too. Fingers crossed everything worked out 🙏

We moved to Mexico in 2018 and our Aussie traveled in cargo. Luckily we lived in the Albany area and could easily get to the USDA office. The vet is responsible for filling out the paperwork perfectly-which they never do but it only took two trips there. Upon arrival in Cancun, we had to pay propina to get our dog released. Pets in cabin breeze right through. Good luck.

I went through that with my baby girl 40 years ago! U did take her to the emergency room because I was young and scared and it looked like her toe was being cut in half! She still has the scary where they put a tiny stitch! I LOVE YOU ALL and I'm sorry you're having such a hard time with Lola's paperwork! Seems like a freemason torture tactic. I swear it happened to me & my daughter (hair around the toe) but we didnt need to see a dr. I've been cursed with finding hair in my food all my life. There's a movie with Uma Thurman where a piece of hair is part of the theme. They have some weird obsession with it.

That happened to my son as a newborn also. So horrible. We had to take him to the hospital too. Glad she's ok!! Merry Christmas 🎅 🎄 ❤️

Poor toesy. That same thing happened to my daughter's toe as well right around 2 weeks old. Her poor toe was literally dark purple. I was totally freaking out but the Dr said it's frighteningly common. It's all better now though.

Frustration and optimism. I feel for you. Hoping it was good news! And Sadie is growing so fast and utterly adorable. Edit: just took a relook at the title and photo and guessing they tell the story. You both look so serious and the look on Sadie's face... Looking forward to the next one. Until then, i wish you peace.
