We caught 4 20’s in a session on solid PVA Bags! Avoca | Cudmore | Fishery Reviews
Probably the last fishery review until next year, back at Cudmore with my good pal and subscriber Rob fuller! This time on Lake Avoca. Avoca is an up and coming specimen lake at Cudmore with a good stock of 20's and some of the fisheries biggest cats heading towards 80lb.
On arrival at the fishery we was told the lake wasn't fishing well and with a 10 degrees temperature drop we decided to go with the pva bag approach and follow the wind.
The video will be a review on Avoca some solid information and watercraft/ details on how we approached this fishery having never fished it before. I have included information about the gear and bait we are using so you can try the same tactics.

Hey just a little tip when putting on your bobbins or tightening you drag turn your bite alarms off so other anglers on the lake doesn't get annoyed.

You can also put your finger over the speaker hole to muffle it while fiddling with the bobin.

That place has changed! Only time i fished avoca was 20 years ago. Me and the old man had barbel sporadically throughout a wet, horrible day and I eventually banked a 19lb mirror on 4lb line. Amazing transformation.

Awesome video lads , just what I needed! I have same setup line Rob , he told me about the crayfish 2mm pellets for the solid bag and I also bought the insect meal and some S7 boilies and S7 dumbbell wafters. Thanks for all the advice and for this awesome video.

It wasn’t too bad in the end I just dried it in the garage then packed it up on the decking after a few days … it’s still covered in mud but at least it isn’t wet 😂

I haven’t been out feeder fishing in a while! I will give it a test out at some point this month. But it won’t be a dedicated review, seems sturdy enough
