IT sounds to me that the Canadian Taxpayer needs to have a Audit Done on that Organization to find out how much of their money is being HIDDEN in the STRONG BOX.. Real Estate is just a SMALL part of this Criminal Activity.. AND... The Audit needs to GO BACK MORE than SEVEN YEARS.. Give the Canadian Taxpayer a LITTLE CREDIT.. Holding these Criminals Accountable is MORE than Just Saying the WORD..

The Kielburgers have always come across as shady hucksters, even going back to the late 90s. WE is not a casualty here as some might think, they were a huge part of the problem and helped cause their own demise. Good riddance to them. Students shouldn't miss them too much either, there are ample volunteer opportunities that can be provided by other charities or by looking on one's own. The only real casualties are the lower level staff of WE who will now be looking for new jobs.

How many university kids could get through the summer and save for next year on a $10 an hour summer job? Using teachers to prey on their own students to sign up for the student grant program and paying them up to $12,000 to do this is unethical. Kielburgers should have known this. They are smart people..

Instead of changing our operational mythology of governmental official’s mutual beneficial relationships, we are closing down our Canadian operation owing to the exposure of that mythology that has unfortunately resulted in public disdain and major loss in revenue. Although co-vid 19 exists as an equal issue for all countries we will play on this as the key reason for shutting down the Canadian operations as this is a much more profitable alliterative to ease our financial losses than to re-establish our integrity in Canada and around the rest of the world.

When it comes to student work, its not just COVID that causes a problem. The liberal minimum wage and part time benefits change screwed over students. It means the time spent training part time workers who are only available for 3 months during the summer is no longer valuable because the costs are higher than the benefits. This is primarily in ontario where I live and work, but even the 10 sick day rule where employees do jot have to provide proof of appointments or explain personal emergency days, also makes student and part time hires less attractive. If he wanted to help students he should have looked at company subsidies for hiring youths and university or college students for full and part time summer work.

I fail to see that any criminality exits in this whole WE episode. This all came down to political gamesmanship. WE had been around for 25 years in Canada and had a positive influence upon the youth culture. I lay all the blame for the WE collapse in Canada right across the lap of the CPC and I point a nasty finger at the NDP. I have no reservations in what I say.

This charity has formally folded under public scrutiny--well done CBC. That said, how hard does CBC go after fascists in Canada? Or, the theft of natural resources in the billions of dollars with low taxation, for example? The WE charity corruption is peanuts compared to the robbery of natural resources when we consider how well Norway runs its government. Or, are these far right political 'movements' and thefts of Canadian property too big for the CBC? Is the noise created by smaller things like WE taking attention away from the bigger issues?
