It just amazes me all of the progress that has been made since I started watching Chateau Diaries in March 2020. When the topic of a gardener came up, I though well, the portager will really shape up. NEVER did I begin to imagine ALL of the attention that would be given to the entire estate. The landscaping has made a huge difference. I can only imagine the time it takes to create a plan, execute the landscaping plan and then go back and pick another area to work on. Cleaning out the moat has to be really a task because you can see how much better the entire Chateau looks with the moat tidied up.

After Dan joined the Lalande fam the garden has changed drastically, the front yard looked barren when I first started watching Stephanie’s vlogs and now it’s blossoming and so lush. Dan is a blessing for the Chateau.

Your combined efforts of the gardening crew, Selma, and Davie the landscape designer have truly been creating the gift wrap on the package. The chateau looks much better and cared for with the tidying up and the creation and planting of the flower beds and culling of the forest. The walled garden is more functional now with the additional beds, watering system, composting, redoing of the espaliered fruit trees and is prettier too. Love watching it evolve.

When Isabel left I was afraid the garden views wouldn’t be shown. I enjoyed them so much last year but wow. I didn’t need to worry with you on the scene. You and Kristi and crew are fantastic for the garden and grounds and for Stephanie and La Lande.

Dan, it's looking amazing, now Stephanie needs to get the caps repaired. Kirsty, you're a legend.

Dan next time you have a digger onsite you should dredge the bottom of the moat for all the sediment that has settled over the years. I bet if you transferred some of that slop to the garden you'd have nuclear plants next year!!!

You guys need to take a closer look at Husqvarnas products. The strimmer with battery pack, automower 535 AWD and LC137I. Totally changed our gardening life and the quality of our grass. (Live on a farm in Norway with loads of grass to take care of). Husqvarna deserves a Nobel Peace Prize for their products! 😀
