My dad took me and my brother to a U pick when we were kids. It was $5 for a big bucket like the $20 one they have there (at least 30 years ago) they went to pay and my and my brothers faces were red our bellies were super big and they said well pay for these 2 buckets and they probably ate another 2 buckets. They said that's all in the price/experience hope you guys had a blast picking strawberries. I was like 9 and It's one of my fondest memories as a child

Went here for a family trip and I loved it. The price we found was pretty high but we didnt mind too much. This is in California btw :)

I used to love strawberries in smoothies but could never eat them just like that. One day my mom planted strawberries and once I had them I had tears in my eyes. It was the best thing in the world.

I never liked blueberries before my grandma took me to a blueberry patch to pick them ourselves. The old tasteless little things you get in the store are nothing like the huge plump sweet berries off the bush. I wanted to keep eating them nonstop. It was amazing the difference. Same with tomatoes . From the store they get tasteless. A fresh tomato from the garden is bursting with flavor.

I also had the "worst" experience at one of these locations. I mean, they had the audacity to have rows upon rows of these plastic printer berries that literally came off the vines into our hands. They even made their way into our mouths. Then they had the nerve to make us leave with 2 flats of these things! We were forced into making jams that are sitting on our shelves today. Oh my, one of my kids was magnetically pulled to take a jar off the shelf and open it just now! 😂
