My Dad and I DESTROY all the Michelin tires on C10 Slayer!!! We go though so many ups and downs in this episode. You will have to watch the whole thing to understand. But we did finally do a real tandem axle burnout in c10 slayer! All 900 hp smashed the ground and the whipple supercharger screamed the LSX loud.. until.. well until it didn't. All I can say is in the next episode we figure out the issue 100% Please show some support in the comment section and like this video!

It is frickin awesome watching you and your dad work together. I have loved watching all your C10 Vlogs. The amount of smoke was INSANE from that last burnout!! I also don't agree with thinking some of the episodes are negative. Since you and your dad tried something completely different with this C10, trial and error is the only way a person learns. It has been great watching what you guys did even if it didn't work out. If we do not get out of our comfort zone some times, push the limit and fail, we won't learn anything. All the things that you and your dad have done with the C10 has made you wiser for the next insane build you guys do. Keep up the great work and content.

Well I partially nailed it in my comment on the last vid. Glad to see the progress. I do agree with your dad on the spring rate. It would also help with turns. I can’t believe that rim flexed that much yet it’s still true enough to be road worthy.

You need to use a weight scale under all six tires and adjust the suspension pressure to even out the weight perfectly. You need to also get different rims that are perfectly centered with the ends of the drive shaft.

I don't understand how the wheel moved like that and everything is fine. Looked like you destroyed a bearing or the center of the wheel hub. I guess not though? That's crazy to see.

It's the axle(s) dancing around. Especially side loading making a turn as he did. I doubt the wheel flex that much and not be damaged. Again like last video not capturing the right camera angles. Hard to come up with the solution without seeing what's really taking place. This video the front axle acted up, last video the rear.

Get some old steel wheels, bolt them on the back and fry the tires. Those wheels are flexing a lot. I think the suspension is fine the way it was with the 700lbs springs on both rear axels and the hydros hooked up. A little axel wrap is normal but when in combination with those wheels, it's the wheel flex that's causing most, if not all of the wheel hop. Hope my 2cents helps out!

How episode started would be cool. Made a list of ideas from comments, if just worked down the list and tried each one. Would be a good elisode to see... Of course it worked when on a wet surface, added smoke from moisture evaporation, like one of the comments I made in last video, can make a easy way to make any surface wet and slick from in cab. Inertia of rear tire spinning and bowing the tread like a bubble, higher speed the higher the bow, watch tractor pull or drag racing. With rear axle so light, Rear tires are making smoke but not much, isn't the point to figure out how to make them all even? With same spring rate on both rear axles, the angle of truck will have different load on axles, nose up and will have more weight on rear, nose down and more weight on front. A set of scales to see the difference. With air setup and each side linked together, woukd even the pressure on both axles per side. Not having the rear axle touch the ground is like you made a 2wd truck and threw in a dead axle for looks, and no other purpose.

Been watchin', lovin' this truck! I mentioned it before and I know it doesn't have all the tech savvy that most of the comments have had but from a poor hillbilly lifelong car guy's perspective a cheap, fast try that just seems to make sense to me is to put slicks or at least a much less aggressive tread set of tires on the front of the rear axle set. WTF it's worth a try ain't it?

One thing that might not hurt is to isolate the axels on the hydraulics. So each axel is on its own valve then you can better control the weight distribution. If big semi's can do burnouts that beast can too.

Maybe try the soft springs infront and hard at the back? put the weight more on the rear axel equals longer wheel base for the power to the ground meaning more stable seeing that most of the wheel hop comes from the front axel

It almost seems like a type of limited slip has to be considered between the front and rear tires as well as left to right. Just like if you weld the rear did and do tight turns you get wheel hop because the tires won't compensate with the grip demands of each other.

Would be interested to see you get some race scales under the for rear wheels to see the load difference between the rear axels. I don't think it will help the wheel hop but interesting to see none the less. Maybe try and balance the loads between both axels. I think your actual issue is the axel housing flexing. The wheels always seem to oscillate back and forward, not up and down so I don't think adding weight or making suspension adjustments will help. Is it an option to weld bracing along the back of the housing?

Up until the wheels wobbled/flexed, on this episode ,i thought the 4 link might have been mounted too far away from the wheel end of the differential and needed to be moved out because in the last episode you can clearly see the diff ends flexing which would put it out of alignment with the outside of the tire/rim which introduced the wheel flexing just my observations. cheers

We have a similar problem with the basket inside the 4L50E tranys. guys will get stuck in the mud & start rocking their rig forward & back & up to 6k rpm. The centrifugal force causes the basket to swell & the fingers flair out. It will cut a huge grove almost slicing the case in half. Those must be forged wheels or they would have shattered. Crazy physics show lol.
