When it's really hot, you have to be drinking water constantly. Also, if you ever notice that you stop sweating, STOP working immediately. Don't go into a cold atmosphere, just go sit in the shade and drink, drink, drink. Allow your body to gently cool down. Also, don't work in the hottest part of the day. Your viewers opinions of how fast you get something done doesn't matter. Those of us who love yall understand. Your health and happiness are what is most important. And if ANYONE doesn't like that, they can kick rocks. I admire the work you've done and love watching you guys.

Ok, here's my take on the old fireworks situation. As long as the person (Gary) is far away from the house and people and him being a very responsible person normally, I'd just fire them off as well. That way, nobody is close by to get hurt and he's far enough from any of your buildings and such it will be safe to " light them up!" So I say, Go for it Gary! Thats what the fire department will do anyway so why bother them. ❤

Personally i would light them off by the power lines on New Year's. But do what you feel is safe. Stay safe in this heat don't push yourself to heat exhaustion.

Good morning Gary and Mel, take care in the heat. I live in the tropics here in Townsville , Queensland in the great southern land, and the heat and humidity knock me around. I drink water often, a water bottle nearby, wear a wicking neck cooler, wear baggy saggy shirt - about 2 sizes bigger so I don’t feel the clothes holding the heat in. Our humidity effectively neutralizes the cooling effect of our sweat, I think it must be the same for you. It’s that weather to be wary of as the heat sneaks up and you have headaches before you know it. On the high work, please get help so you both don’t overdo the lifting and stretching overreach. I agree with you Gary about getting it done, you want to get it done right and there are lots of things that need to be done without any visual progress, but every little thing is getting you closer. The old fireworks are probably fine. Winter is my least favorite season....even in Florida. It's still too chilly for me, PLUS it gets dark early! You can see how much I developed a sheer dislike of living in the far north the longer I lived up there! The back of my neck gets tense and sore when I'm cold. Even though summer is hot, it's still my favorite season here.

In Arkansas Place the double-bagged fireworks in the household trash or take them to your local solid waste facility. You can contact your local fire department or solid waste facility as other disposal options may be available in your community.

Praying mantis eat the bugs so do lady bugs. Plant marigolds to keep the bugs away. You want to grow vegetables it's an everyday thing not a once a week thing. Farming, honey is doing everything everyday not when you feel like doing it, it has to be everyday. If you have praying mantis in your garden that's a good thing they eat the bad bugs that are too big for the lady bugs. Don't ever get rid of them, they lay a foam nest which is usually about an inch square with more than 100 maybe little babies in it. If you find one of those protect it to protect your bad bug killer for next year, don't forget the marigolds. Get horse manure and till it under in your garden. When my dad ha garden he got a truck load, don't use rabbit or chicken poop, that doesn't fertilize it kills your ground, you'd be better off using dirt out of the forest.

Please don't work your self to death in this heat, sometimes you don't recover to well from the heat, or can take a longer time to recover. Might try that system yes it slow progress but your not tearing yourself down
