We Don’t Have to be Alike to Love Each Other, Prophet Tells NAACP Convention

The President of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints reminded those assembled for the 110th annual national convention of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) Sunday in Detroit that differences need not undermine society’s shared humanity.
“We are all connected, and we have a God-given responsibility to help make life better for those around us,” President Russell M. Nelson said during a nine-minute evening speech. “We don’t have to be alike or look alike to have love for each other. We don’t even have to agree with each other to love each other. If we have any hope of reclaiming the goodwill and sense of humanity for which we yearn, it must begin with each of us, one person at a time.”

#INDEED thank you Heavenly Father 4 president Nelson and every heart and soul on this Earth and the love that we have for each other as Brothers and Sisters in Christ and let us continue to grow together and I fight back together and to lift each other up and to understand with discernment,🙏🏼☝️✌❤💪☝️🙏🏼 thank you Heavenly Father 4 hour every breath we take in miraculous peace that passes all understanding in the name of Jesus I pray ☝️amen☝️🙏🏼

J. Jason Reese stop worshipping men, stop believing you will be like god, repent and accept Christ as your savior. No amount of Masonic ritual worship will make you a god, the philosophies of men mingled with scripture will lead you to hell.

Jim E I was born into the “covenant”, I served a two year mission, my wife and I were “sealed” in the temple and I worked for the Corp. of the Presiding Bishopric. I know that is exactly what is taught. Gratefully my wife and I found the true and living God, repented of our sins and turned our lives to The Savior. I pray that you will do the same and be saved through the Grace of Christ and not be dragged down by the subtleties of the devil.

👏👏👏☝️☝️❤❤✌✌💪💪☝️☝️❤❤🙏🏼☝️ Hallelujah we are all children of God and we all love to love our heavenly father in the name of his son Jesus our savior and very very thankful for the gifts of the holy spirit with discernment and with all of us coming together and as missionaries our heavenly father as we are sent here for a reason! For the reason to teach about Jesus to teach about our savior to teach about our Heavenly father's unconditional love and to grab and love and hug every heart and every soul and show and shine through our bodies let others see that miraculous glow and want to know more of what we love so very much and as we love each other there are many different denominations and for me I was raised in many different denominations mainly non denomination! Baptized twice in non denomination and once in Wisconsin once in Louisiana and over a year ago March 24th 2018 I was baptized into the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and most recently my endowment at the temple is beautiful and miraculous because I was in the hospital dying of septic shock and many terminal illnesses with no cure tumors disease I could write a book a books of testimonies here but the point I'm trying to make is that I am still alive miraculously and miraculously I made it to Nauvoo Illinois Temple and that is a temple that I was so wanting to go to and it was able to happen very fast because of my health conditions and I testify that I am so happy in my faith and I stay Spirit strong and I do struggle so much physically and emotionally! But I stand firm in my belief and using Faith as a verb putting it into action even when I cannot move or speak I have many ways of speaking to our Heavenly Father giving him thanks speaking to Jesus on either side of me with the Holy Spirit within me with discernment and I just say I keep converting and it keeps getting better and better and I do believe in respect and silence Within the sacrament and learning what we need to learn and understand and to grow in and I also believe in praise and worship! Lifting my hands in the air singing every praise and worship song that I've ever known and loved because there are many and in the Sacrament in silence and respect singing the beautiful hymns of the beautiful words that I pay attention to that I'm still learning and loving every minute of it so yes I am testifying that it can be done and we can all come together as one because we are all children of God and we all are so grateful to our Savior Jesus and for what we can do and how we can do it together in the name of Jesus I pray these things and I pray it forward to each and everyone of you and I ask that you continue to pray it forward and that you continue to love and I thank you all in advance for keeping me lifted up in your prayers as I keep you lifted up because it's spiritual warfare out there and I'm not giving up and as long as I'm still alive on this Earth and beating this physical terminal illnesses I am not going to give up on my emotional part of it I am not going to give up I'm not going to let anything Rob or steal me of the joy of the Lord is my strength for no weapons formed against me shall prosper and heavenly father will never give us more than we can handle and I know he gives me through each day and eat struggle and I am thankful and grateful 4 every heart and every soul and life on Earth is a blink of an eye compared to what Infinity will be in eternity I cannot stress enough that we all come together and not against one another and we love one another and we welcome each other into each other's arms and love others and not be divided as the world is a definite struggle not getting any better and as president Nelson said that we all continue to come together on arm 2 arm and love with each other and for what Heavenly Father has for us in his will and we trust it and we live it in the name of Jesus thank you president Nelson and sister Wendy and all Brothers and Sisters in Christ I love you so very much and I am praying daily peace that passes all understanding in the name of Jesus in miraculous ways, and every breath we take and every day that we wake what is feel that miraculous peace☝️✌🙏🏼 but yet let us continue to trust and walk in faith☝️ and know but is not always by what we feel or see☝️🙏🏼 but it is by our FAITH &SPIRIT STRONG🙏🏼☝️✌❤💪💪☝️🙏🏼 in the name of our Savior Jesus Christ amen and amen
