I liked the idea to player lock the series. Also loved the orioles series and whatever you do I’ll watch in this one cause of how you make it interesting and fun to watch.

Biggest thing to learn about drafting in MLB The Show is to draft high potential. But you can't draft guys who aren't good enough in the now to play in your farm system. So you shoot for a minimum starting overall of 60+ so you can put them in Double A or Triple A. Cause if they don't play they aren't gonna reach that big potential they have. As far as I'd draft, Props to Kenny following that exact ideal and pointing out in the later rounds that taking the lower overalls is a risk, But there's no way to play someone in their 50's in overall. Let alone a 49 overall guy. So in all honesty his last 2 picks weren't great but there wasn't anyone else scouted, So it makes sense.

Kenny, when evaluating hitters, On Base Percentage is the most important stat. Therefore, discipline is the most important attribute to look at because it doesn’t matter whether a hitter gets a hit or walks, they are still getting on base.

Hey Kenny, if you turn on Manual for roster management and at least the MLB Only option if not Manual for injury management, It still allows you to let CPU auto fix it for you, but it gives you the pop up when it happens. For example, Edgar Quero is going to be out 1-2 months: Auto, 15-IL, 60-IL. From there you can hit auto and then go move someone up that you deem best for the experience for you!

Also for future reference, you should turn on contracts and negotiate them for draft picks on your own, it’s not difficult and you can turn it off once you finish. I would suggest setting everything to manual, the ai keeps bringing guys up to the mlb. You can only send down to AAA and bring back up 3 times!! After that if you try to send someone down again they are placed on waivers and other teams can claim them. Another thing is you will get to fully control your lineups without the ai changing them game to game, this is especially useful for your prospects in the minors, you want them to get as many AB’s as possible!!

PPI picks are essentially compensation picks a team can get for how fast top prospects make the majors and how well they perform… winning awards. There’s a menu selection “PPI list” that shows which prospects qualify. Definitely pay attention to that
