@@charlesfunk2810 he's not short on money, if the price is already a super killer deal and youre going to make a killing on it then why dicker, just give the people their money and say THANK YOU , not F*ck You very much, thats not doing honorable biz, thats my issue, not really an issue more than an opinion, maybe the lady is doing this for charity, maybe she is selling all this crap to pay a bill, maybe to pay a vet surgury....ect. ect, dont be so cheap, these people selling this stuff are helping us pay our rent........***unless you are broke***......... give the sellers their money ESPECIALLY when they drag it to the flea market and pay to sell there, ..... just my opinion

It's embarrassing. I'm embarrassed for him. You know I have buyers who low ball me at the market and I give them higher prices than other buyers, because I don't want to sell to them. I have regular buyers who never lowball, quite often tell me I'm selling too cheap and give me extra. Guess what? The really cool stuff I find the following week gets put aside for them lol

You should check out hwy 25 in southeast Missouri. Every Memorial Day weekend Thursday-Monday, we have a 100 mile yard sale that stretches along hwy 25 from Kennett, MO to Jackson, MO.

Good call on buying that Marantz amp despite being told it was no good. I was an audio engineer during the heyday of stereo. Marantz is definitely top-shelf.

The Marantz Amp at $5.00 was an okay pick - if it works. It's a mid to late 1980's era machine, but somewhat under powered at 30 watts per channel (not exactly a powerhouse). Somebody will want it for $20-30 when it's clean and working. If it doesn't work, I would not put ANY money into it - either chuck it or try to sell it for parts and get back what you paid for it. The Canon Video Camera was easily the deal of the day - nominal outlay and tremendous upside potential.

Your daughter is adorable! My 7 yr. old son has always called it Mcdonerds and we hear the exact same thing every time going somewhere to eat is mentioned, I was cracking up! Yeah I get it, your trying to buy for cheap to make a profit, BUT people are having a yard sale, trying to make a Buck also... they want ten dollars for a 200 dollar item, and you haggle for cheaper, then turn around and say your gona sell it for 100 , Aloet of older people don't know how to do eBay etc. So this is there way of making a few bucks...

WACKENHUT is an old security company. It was bought out by G4S who I work for now. To my knowledge Wackenhut is no longer around. Good find!!

Marantz is one of the best electronics you can get. If you ever find a tube amplifier or receiver from the 70s, with lights still working, GET IT. They are sought after by record collectors.

That is a negotiating strategy many people use to try to get you to throw out a number so they can counter a few bucks higher.

@@JordanRCcom yea, when I go to sales and they haven't any idea what to sell something for I will give a ridiculously low price and sometimes they will go for it or they will give me a price that I will either accept or counter offer. Works all around regardless of how people do it. Too high? then just put it down and walk away.

I had the exact same cervical traction device and eBay took it down. Then I just listed it on craigslist & sold it for $100. This might not be allowed to list on eBay. Just saying to be careful about listing it on eBay and good luck.
