⤈ WHO WE ARE ⤈
We are Philly and Keely and we live full time in our tiny home on wheels Martha. After building our DIY home in a Citroen Relay camper we spent a year living on the streets of London before quitting our jobs only to be met with lockdown. Then we took our van further than she had ever been before to the very beautiful Turkey. Enroute, we stopped off in Spain for a few weeks where we experienced every van lifers worst nightmare, we were robbed and they stole all valuables in our van. But then we were back on our feet, fully MOT’d and back on the road through Europe before we experienced another vanlife nightmare... our van caught fire!! After the trauma of that we had a massive change of plan and made our way to Japan. We enjoyed a three-month Japanese Adventure and then got back to Martha for some new European Adventures. After an incredible three-month Scottish road trip, we have now packed up our van and are heading to Australia for a new van life adventure!

No silly quip from me today guys, because uluru is so steeped in aboriginal history and culture, their equivalent of stone henge in the UK (,but obviously much much older) and the history of the caves and the change in colour at sunset makes this a truly remarkable rock. 😎👌👍

I have to be honest guys (to quote Keely 😉) this actually brought tears to my eyes too. It's been on my bucket list ever since I started my caravan life here in Australia to see Uluru and you beat me to it! Kinda embarrassing seeing as I'm Australian! It's the beating heart of this ancient land and it was so magical to see it through your eyes and feel the emotion in your reactions. Absolutely top job you two, epic drone shots, really enjoyed taking that drive with you. Could barely sleep last night in anticipation of this extra special chapter... Well done Philly and Keely and Dingo. ❤ 👏 👏👏

@@phillyandkeely It’s interesting you mentioned Christmas in OZ. I have a cousin who was born and bred in Belfast, married a Dutch/ Australian wife, lived in Sydney for 10 years before coming home again. He could never get used to Christmas Day on the beach with Christmas dinner being BBQ, there’s just something not right about it for us Irish folk…. I feel your heat, I use to live in a desert city for several years and it would sometimes reach 120 F. I'm out here in the desert right know with thousands of camper rigs for an annual event, it's awesome. That camel was so sweet. I hear they will sometimes spit on you but I think you won it over with your kindness. Glad you were able to take in Uluru and that special moment when the sun goes down, something you'll never forget. Safe travels.

Well proud of you guys in what you've accomplished, and to tick off this world heritage site on your bucket list and pay your respects to the indigenous people and their culture will surely be a massive highlight. Such a beautiful place with a really special ‘feeling’ that’s really hard to explain. I also cried the first time I saw Uluru. I went in the height of summer, it was 45 degrees during the day for my whole stay which made it almost impossible to do much, and minimums of high 30’s at night, crazy! Glad you managed okay in the middle of summer! Hectic 😳 We made a video on our trip there too. - Bon & Melissa Ps. Wow, that was great. I'd obviously heard of Aires Rock but didn't know much about it. Looks well worth the trip. I've visited Stone Mountain in Georgia US, which is a similar formation apparently, but the surroundings and the colors here are something else! Hi Philly and Keely. So glad that you got to visit Uluru. This brings back so many great memories. My wife and I had our honeymoon in Australia. We saw Uluru at sunset probably from the same viewing area. We then did a Sunrise walk around the base of the rock. It was a guided tour and we were told of some of the sacred parts along the way. At the time people could still climb the rock but we didn’t do that out of respect for the indigenous people. Sending you hugs 🥰 Take care. Nick

Uluru is definitely top of the list of things I would see visiting Australia. 🥹🥹🥹 Such a sacred, beautiful place. Great shout going by foot and not by Segway. Something about the thought of being there makes me think it shouldn't be made easy, there should be some physical effort required. Plus, they would have made Philly take off his Sooper cool hat for the helmet. ❤❤✌️🤠xx

Hiya kiddos!! OMG I love camels! I saw camels 🐪 in Egypt years ago. Your camel looked so friendly and tame. GREAT shot of the eyelashes! You could make a coffee table book out of stills from your videos. That Emu was definitely unpredictable and a little sketchy 😆. What an epic, life-changing experience to see Uluru in person! That sunset was so beautiful with all of the angles and shadows. And the stars ⭐️! That hike looked brutal! Keely I’m so proud of you for doing the hike in such heat. Your poor white Irish ☘️ skin. Glad you were slathering on the sun screen. Who has the best hat? Hard to choose. It’s like apples and oranges. I would choose Keely’s for the cuteness. I love the way your bun is so much a part of the look and it frames your face so nicely. But Philly’s is epic and definitely does a better job of sun protection. Plus he looks like a true adventurer… think Indiana Jones 😂! Ok… I never heard of LPG before. We don’t have that here in the states 🇺🇸. This week’s video went so fast! I couldn’t believe it was already over. You had to leave after only being there one day? Dingo is the 💣! Can’t wait to see where you take us next week! Wishes for safe travels from Southern California 🌴

All emus are sketchy 🤣 camels are sooo cool aren't they! We had a three day pass for the national park, so one day was sunset, one day was the hike and then we wanted to go to another place in the national park too, so that's where we are heading after Uluru itself 🥰
