Nice to see you luv yours as much as I luv mine. I received my Blue one a couple of weeks ago. It's #30/500 I see yours is #27. Yours must have got stuck on the slow boat from China :)

I wish I could have gotten both, but I found out about them late, I got the Carbon Fiber version and it is beautiful, if I find the A model I will add it to my collection as well

Those are some seriously cool knives to me that man can design some awesome knives the end of the month I think he said the zata is coming out

Wild design. I don't love it or hate it. As you said, a lot of knives such as the plethora of titanium framelocks on bearings are sought after for reasons apart from practicality. So is it such a stretch for a manufacturer to produce this knife? It pushes the envelope of design and manufacturing capabilities and I give WE credit for that.

It seems to me that _all_ of the recent Isham designs are to show off a makers manufacturing prowess. That's all this knife is - showing off WE's capabilities, nothing more. The Brous designs are the same - although Brous fell down on the job there. I think Kizer got cold feet and went with a safer design, which was probably in hindsight a good idea. I can justify art knives, but I can't justify a Chinese production art knife. $350 will buy a lot of knife.

Nice look at these LTK. It's good to see what WE is capable of doing. I don't care for the liner lock at this price, but it seems design restricted. Good job as always brother.

Baz on Blades I really like the liner lock. The I heard that the WE 702 Integral was a real pain because it’s a framelock. Barely touch the lockbar and it’s a nightmare to deploy. I’m actually really warming up to linerlock knives.

LTK- I'm with you on liner locks. Never have to worry about pressure on the lockbar during deployment.

The 702 doesn't even need pressure on the lockbar to not want to deploy. Other times it's fine for dozens of flips in a row. My CKF S.S.E. is also sensitive - if you press the lockbar at all and then release, it's still stuck. Really weird, and it seems this is how all but the very earliest ones are. Knocks a full star off of what would be a 5 star knife. Wondering about sending the 702 to WE to see if they can just take a bit of the "tent" off of the detent.

This is really cool, but that part that sticks out near to the edge in the middle gets on my nerves.. I feel like it will be in the way of cutting and sharpening.. other than that id totally use this knife just for the coolness factor alone

I'd switch the ends of the handle. I think the darker great would look better on the cf and the more silver end would better match the satin and black blade

Insofar as it's clearly not designed to do knifey things, I just see it as an artwork, and it's one I'm basically indifferent to. However I could see someone picking it up by the wrong end. And that would be most unfortunate.

I love the look of his designs, but the shtick is already wearing a bit thin. I've vacillated on getting one, but just can't justify spending _$350_ on a WE in my mind. The stonewash is just lazy IMHO. But Satin contrast grind probably would have driven the price even higher. I'd sort of call this a _hybrid_ integral, like that Maxace Ptilopsis. At this point I'd lean towards the Fanatic Edge Isham knife (assuming I'd get one within a year of ordering it!) The Zeta still appears to actually be useful, and I'll probably consider it. The Megatherium is probably his least attractive design, but it hits all the ergonomic and usefulness buttons.

slidetek You’re not considering the most important things about this knife.... it’s crazy cool design, incredible collectibility,and it middle finger flicks like crazy good !!! But seriously. It’s a real statement knife. Hitting the design and manufacturing level of difficulty.... it’s just interesting from that standpoint alone.
