WE knives has been around a long time making knives for various companies. They def. are not a new company, just a new name .

ah yes that's right i forgot they have made knives for different companies. I've heard that once before. I am just proving a point that if something like this is possible on a production scale, i think we need to have higher standards for other makers at this point who want to charge a premium for their craft.

The thing I respect about Grimsmo is that they are very open about their journey in knife making. You know where the money you spend with is going. With some of these Chinese companies who knows how they treat their employees or who is actually making the parts. You are sorta comparing apples to oranges in a way.

sure they employees same like every other nobody whip them and who know what have in your head if you check they have very big pay checks I was surprise always think they work for 50cent but average salary is around 2000e

William Davies Ya you know the money is going in there bank while you wait 18 months to get a knife. The old lady produces children faster than Grimsmo can make a knife. They shouldnt even be taking orders they should sell what they make. But their solution is to have customers lend money instead of the bank.

Hi, Yes I know he designed both, I laid a screenshot of both on top of one another and there's more than just a family resemblance there. They look like two versions of the same knife.

gonshocks yeah I wonder if there is any animosity because of the nature of similar designs with different makers so they are competitors. But it's the nature of the game so Honestly I would have gotten the brous raven but I felt it was overpriced for d2 so anyway I think this is a better buy so Actually I think Elijah should go on as his own brand as someone suggested so WE makes for others like vdk, hea, quartermaster so I think it would be no problem for Elijah to go the next step so Honestly I feel rarely any knife is totally practical so despite the looks I think totally edc able especially with a 3 ounce weight so My own concern is losing the hype before it comes out. I have to think that Jason Brous might feel a bit upset about the WE knife version coming out. I have the Raven and like it very much, it is overpriced but oh well. I like the WE knife too but I would feel like it would be a duplicate in my collection.

He has no right to be upset. He didn't design the knife and has no rights to said design. They are the same design and just a variation.

If there is nothing wrong dont fix it. I was doing the same when I was a kid. Now Im a adult and I dont need to open things to see whats inside. This knife is a designer knife and the screws are perfect for that kind of knife. You aint gonna get sand in the pivot on this one. And lets be honest will it cut anything else than phonebook paper showing off to your friends. This knife for me is really beautifull mix between desepticon and the new zt0456 Sinkowich design.Love it

+LorenzoNW When you're trying to build a brand from the ground up, it's actually smarter to have a logo that sticks out. Major luxury good companies (watches, perfume, etc) spend millions on brand recognition. The eschaton design itself won't even sell verry well, it's a publicity stunt in the same way ZT built the 777, 888 and 999. The Hawks have been designing for well over 10 years, they can afford to have subtlety.

They already announced this model will have Torx screws when it's released.

Yes, and *Kudos to Elijah* for getting WE to do this. Of course, it might only be on his collaborations - but hopefully he'll think of a really clever solution that WE will start using elsewhere. I'd be willing to bet something could use a torx and still look custom.

Yeah. It's got a snaggletooth. Designed more for looks than function imo. To each his own.

a few passes on a grinder can even it out for useability on top of looks. I imagine I'll pick one up and tinker with it minimally to mix cool and useable.
