Very similar to walleye IMO especially if fried. Especially hogs like these with big fillets, I bet they're just as good as walleye.

Great video, nice mess of perch.. I have a goal I set for this ice season.. I want to put a 15+in perch, a 16+in crappie and a 12in bluegill on 2lb test. They will all go on the wall..

Ill never beat my P.B. crappie , years ago i was fishing for stripers in a Virginia reservoir throwing 6 inch paddle tail on a half oz. Jig head . Got a good thump and fought the fish in . It was a 19 inch crappie. Threw out again real quick and hooked a second monster crappie. It was over after that. They went 4.3 lbs and 4.6 lbs. They were so big they didnt even look real. I got pictures and let em both go and have never regretted doing so. ✌

@@igor5366 we catch multiple 17 inchers every year on cascade. You should check it out sometime. I met countless people that came all the way from Minnesota Wisconsin Canada ect the last few winters there. World class fishery.
