Richard Hammond is in the middle of a midlife crisis. He's already got one tattoo, but when he told us he was planning a second, we just had to capture it. So we sent Lucy to the South of France.

I am 53 about to turn 54 and he has aged far better than I have, despite trying to frequently kill himself. His teeth look a million times better trust me as I had root canal treatment on the 23rd Dec. 🤣🤣🤣

Lucy's presenting skills have improved VASTLY in the past few years. Much more comfortable. Still has a little Philomena Cunk energy (emotionless, dry), but much more entertaining to watch than she used to be. Well done Lucy

Somebody should've warned Richard that tattoos are essentially the world's most addictive drug, even more so than caffeine. One tattoo and that's all it takes to get hooked, then it's game over, you're getting tattoos left and right. Just remember most reputable tattoo artists wont do face tattoo or wont do one until you've thought it over at least 24 hours sometimes longer, and sometimes not unless you have a temp tatt put in place to ensure it is exactly what you want to live with.

I got my first tattoo in 1970. Only needed to be 16 in those days. They are physically and psychologically addictive. Hammond will soon be black and blue all over.
