Finally after days of non stop rain we were able to get out and do some exploring here on Sirigao Island. This is real life not tourist life here in General Luna Philippines.

While I prefer the peace and quiet of province life, it's nice to have a "touristy" spot not far away where you can treat yourself to the "creature comforts" they can provide. Looks like you and Lot have found the best of both words.

I just love how clean it is there, thats the way it should be....your breakfast were very nice and exactly what i like myself. The resort is beautiful, though pricy though. Beautiful Island, hands down.

BRIAN !! The first thing I Noticed as you panned the area there. The Road is Nice, Paved. Everything is Neat, No Trash all over the ground... It is BEAUTIFUL there ! Small Island, so what ? Looks like a NICE PLACE. I like the Vibe of the little Resto there. Others can say what they like... I think this Little Island is Nice. Hey, I've been to the Philippines and I've seen many sides. That's awesome you found a PADI dive shop!....The price does seem a bit on the high side for 2 dives....but you did mention that things do cost more on the island...ie...fuel being the main cost.....I was wondering about your breakfast....While in AC you were always on the hunt for "over easy" eggs....but I didn't hear any comments about how the eggs were....Did they meet the "Philly Standard"?...Just wondering....

Man that's an expensive breakfast. Expensive resort also. Well i just got back from a wedding in Napa. They old Hotel/Resort was 500 usd for two nights. That sure as hell wasn't worth it.

Awesome.. Last year I stayed in the Happiness Inn across from where you had breakfast. Its a nice place for anyone visiting Siargao. I wasnt impressed with that Pig breakfast place but maybe they have improved.

@@Lancaster7 But the gain is minimal! You loose power in low and mid range for a slight gain at top rev. It is not worth it. You get a slightly higher top speed, maybe (depends on gearing too) but in traffic you don´t use top rev, especially not in Philippino traffic. I know this well since i have tinkered with bikes for over 40 years.

@@Lancaster7 True. But i still think loudness must be annoying both to drive and to live in. I mean it is not like the Philippines are famous for being a quiet country!! 😂 There are better ways to tweek the performance, like lighter weights in the CV for those bikes. Better uptake and go.
