Outstanding REDS. WOW. Word of caution, I used to use spider wire exclusively on the missouri river and my hook setting elbow is tore up from all the hook sets with no stretch in the line. Especially when snagged up. I'm a mono floracarbon man now. Just saying. Keep your powder dry and your pantry stocked young man 💪😎

Ty, have you been up to Alaska yet? I hope you can some day. I saw 140lb halibut, caught off our Coast Guard Cutter, back in the 70's. Landed by a Philippine cook on our ship. It weighed more then he did. Took a couple of hours to land. Later we stopped in Kodiak where "the" only bar treated us to a fresh caught 200+ pounder, that they deep fried with fresh cut fry's and the whole lot. Of course we all had to buy a crap load of beer. Which for most the teenage crew was just about as good as being in Alaska can get... For many a young seaman I think the fact that they could drink all they wanted was the main reason they went into the service. I did my share too.
