My son and I grew up in Stuart, and he's 23 now and joined the Marines last year. I miss camping and fishing with him, but watching your videos brings back lots of memories. It's great to see you guys making the most of these times. Time goes by so fast. It's like the older you get the faster it accelerates.

I live in Australia we have scouts and other groups I'm not sure what you learn. but a friend of the family taught me how to fish and water ski. Later on a mate taught me how to deep sea fish how unreal. My dad is a chef and love him for that 😊

On the kids and guns issue you have satisfied their curiosity letting them handle the guns under supervision, and like you said they know they can go shoot them with you. Never had a problem with my kids doing the same thing. Great to see shooting sports portrayed in a positive light. Also love how you and Kelly support each other.

What an awesome dad. Every boy deserves a dad who takes an interest in his children. The dad takes his time to teach his sons properly and they clearly love and respect him. He provides encouragement, correction when needed but in a very positive way. These boys will grow up to be confident men. Kudos!

You are such a great Dad teaching your boys hinting and fishing. I was not brought up around any guns and got my first hand gun 3 years ago at age 63. I was raised the same way around firearms. My dad let us shoot growing up and was super open about the guns. He did tell us how dangerous they are and if we are ever at a friends house, never touch a gun. He always told us, if we ever want to hold or see his guns to ALWAYS ASK first and he would never have a problem with it. He just has to be the one to show us

Brought a tear to my eye hearing you talk about guns at the end of the video. My father also raised us around guns and preached gun safety. People think we are crazy when they come inside and see the old mossberg 500 on the couch but they don’t understand, not only can we not afford a gun safe but we where always around them. I just bought a tenpoint crossbow and got my son who is 5 on it and he is hooked. Bought him a hunting license and deer tags and is itching for me to pull him out of school and take him hunting. Keep up the good work raising you kids right!

Thanks for your comments on the difference between the gun being the problem or the person wielding it being the problem. Things relating to this issue have become touchy these days and the MSM and even our schools are openly lying about the facts.
