We Fitted An Upgraded Exhaust To Our Range Rover Sport SV

We have fixed the Range Rover Sport SV’s biggest problem and that was its sound…
The stock exhaust on the Range Rover Sport SV sounds good. But we wanted it to sound better.
So we visited Quicksilver exhaust sound architects to put amends to that!
Huge thanks to Quicksilver for making our Range Rover Sport SV sound much better than before!

It looks nicer than the old one ,I don't care about being less noisy as it's 4.4l V8 does sound nice for me.

Man, this car is beautiful. It’s just perfect. I know it’s your own personal car, do you think you’ll ever take it off roading. Even at the LR Experience Centers? That’ll be too cool man.

Killer in sound only, performance wise the SV has the SVR covered in every way. Old pre OPF SVRs sound better than newer SVRs, sadly newer regulations are killing the sound on newer vehicles, what quicksilver has done is maximise the tone without taking it out of regulation. But I do agree the sound of the older SVR is great.

Is the sound really different from stock? I’m not sure if it fully picks it up on camera but would further modifications be necessary for the “extra” loud?

It’s a much deeper sound than stock and brings out more of the turbo sounds etc. it is naturally louder and under load the valve override allows the exhaust note to be heard throughout the rev range adding to the driving experience. To go further than this would require regulatory parts of the exhaust system to be removed. So this is what JLR could have done but didn’t sadly.

Doesn’t sound any different to what? Standard SV? As the owner I can assure you it is louder, deeper and under load you can finally hear the exhaust in the car behind all its sound deadening which makes the experience so much better for the driver.
