QT “triple Xan’ed” and thought a Benadryl would work better. Damn. I have severe generalized anxiety and panic attacks, and I had been on Xanax for years at different doses (get a new doc, that’s not safe long-term). The point is that I’ve had allergic reactions to heart medicine this year and had to take Benadryl many times. 😳 I know some people really knock out from Benadryl, and I’ve had panic attacks while on Xanax, but .75 mg or 1.5 mg of Xanax not being able to zonk you out more than Benadryl is insane to me Granted, if I’m having trouble breathing bc my throat is closing up, ain’t no med going to knock me out. I’ll be too busy panicking and struggling with pain. I am REALLY proud of QT for going on the trip despite her anxiety. That’s a huge deal.
