The place in cellar with metal gate would have been where they kept the silver when it was a grand house. It would have been locked away. Amazing house. Shame it’s been left to rot.

The picture on the stand was Grace Kelly..maybe they were a fan .Beautiful home but i wouldn't fancy having to clean it on a daily basis 😊 cool explore .Ghost Theory were in this building a few days ago. Xxx

Where to start in this never ending exclusive building. Appears to have been used as a care facility because of the bedpans and Hoyer lift in the downstairs room by Bedrooms 1-3. Probably too expensive to maintain this huge place. Went out of business probably. It was probably expensive to stay here as well. Maybe a care home for the rich and famous? Thank you for taking us to this awesome location. Always exciting to follow you on your adventures.😃 Doesn't look like there are any elevators. Can't imagine the staff and clients traversing the stairs all day.

Hi Matt, another interesting explore ,what a grand building… Matt you can only imagine what elderly residents payed to live there, sadly it looks like the income was sadly spent on a lavish lifestyle for the owners rather than the upkeep…Superb Craftsmanship throughout…looking at the large sinks ( Slouches) these are for cleaning Bed Pans etc. I’m thinking Residential Care Home..? Them funny sinks you mentioned guys are what you empty your commodes down the hole then you flush the contents down the hole and then the little metal ring at the side is where you rinsed the commode pots then leave them to drain on the long peace of the sink hope this is useful love your channels guys take care x

It looks like summat outa a movie, I love how you notice the details, you're in your element aren't you? I noticed at the bottom of the stairs there's a red barrier, makes me wonder if some kind of posh do's went off there and that was to make the upstairs off limits to guests? Xx

Hi hunny I think it could of possibly be a hotel at one point only because of fire panel and on some of the doors in some rooms it will say keep out it's only if the public visit it e.g a hotel or a private members club hope this could be useful love your channel Hun take care x

Maybe Covid closed it down. Then again, it must have cost a fortune to maintain the building and the grounds. That is a goregouse place! Would be great if someone who worked there contacted you! I use to work in a residential care facility. Not quite a nursing home. But one wing was very creepy. The further down you walked, the worse that vibe became. Plus the temperature would drop as you waked down the hall way. Thank goodness we were never full to capacity. That wing stayed mostly vacant.

I would visit a lot of care homes in my last job. One in a building like that would have cost thousands a month to stay in, and yet they didn't invest in maintaining the roof. Bs. Also, those adds on the wall are repro adds put up to help the tenants or inmates feel comfortable and give them something they recognise in there past life. They also put up pictures of old film stars from the 40s and 50s. God help us when we get old and there are pictures of Nintendo and Amazon on the f ing wall!
