Күн бұрын

Last week my neighbor called me with some questions about the shifting on his son’s mountain bike. I said, “drop it off!”. Today, we’re going to fix his shifting and so much more. With the spare parts we have here at Berm Peak, we can practically build a whole bike from scratch, so it’s going to be someone’s lucky day! Enjoy

Carson went bananas when he saw his “new” bike! He said it’s the smoothest bike all around he’s ever rode. He is so proud of his bike and what Seth did to it, can’t think him enough. Thanks Seth!, Shane

The perks of having a neighbor like Seth. The minute I started watching I knew Seth wouldn't just tighten some cables. 😂😂 I bet it made his day, weeks and months.... 😎👍 Also nice to show how you can nicely upgrade an older bike and bring it up to date with just a few new parts and maintenance....

Uhhh that's a entry level bike dude ( not that there is anything wrong with that ). Mid level bikes are $3000 for a full sus and $1500 for a hardtail
@sebastianjost
@sebastianjost 4 жыл бұрын
@@s14tat not everyone sees it that way. In the lower price segments there are a lot more differences, therefor you would need more categories there. There is a massive difference between 200$, 500$ and 1000$ bikes.
@s14tat
@s14tat 4 жыл бұрын
@@sebastianjost there can be many levels of entry level. A $200 bike is almost wouldn't be considered trail rated without failing. So that is literally a bike shaped object. Even though Schwinn has been killing it lately with the aluminum comp, the axium and the boundary because they come with a tapered headtube for only $250. And a truely trail worthy bike that is not going to blow up after a half year of black diamond trails cost $800-$1000 for a hardtail. That is still only considered entry level because you still need to add a dropper seat post etc and needs some upgrading down the road. A $3000 full squish doesn't need any upgrades right away and it becomes the point of diminishing returns from $3000-$5000 which is why I call those mid level bikes. Those $3000 bikes are not going to come with gx eagle or pike or lyrik forks for the most part.

I found great reviews of the Diamondback Overdrive 29er. Picked up two and my son has been killin it. He hit trails with his full suspension buddies. It’s been about 6 months since he stared and we’re about to upgrade to something my appropriate to his skill development and new downhill love. Great fun sport.

I've accidentally caught my fingertip in a disc while it was slow speed spinning and I was aligning the caliper - cut right through my nail and mashed the nail bed, I had to have the whole nail pulled out in hospital and the nail bed stitched back together. I had a group of medical students watching the whole thing and one had to leave to throw up! They stick a metal nail shape in its place to stop it closing up while the nail regrows - and I'll tell you what; getting a static shock on a fake metal nail replacement when you catch it on a long sleeved shirt is the most discomforting feeling :D
