We are on the Symphony TA and ran into you guys on the boardwalk on day 3ish. You were just as pleasant in person as you are on your videos. It was one of the highlights of the cruise for me (even if my husband didn't know who I was talking to) 😂

My biggest problem with RCL is that the solo supplements are unreasonable-it’s frequently more than 2x the pp cruise fare or as much as 3x the fare for a solo traveler. I’ve got Diamond status with MSC which doesn’t provide much, but the solo supplements are much more reasonable. I don’t have great status with Carnival, but their Casino Club offers have been insane recently. I booked a 13 night transatlantic for $378.

We have been Pinnacle with RCI for over 10 years , reached the milestone in December 2012 and have had 2 'free' cruises so far . I will agree it is the best loyalty programme at sea but you are paying for it in their prices . We cruise less with RCI now especially since we are no longer flying long haul and they have had the same ship out of the UK for 3 years now !

It was nice to meet you onboard the symphony transatlantic! Also a great tip we never knew is that if you show you’re diamond or above you get unlimited specialty coffee in the Cafe Promenade without paying for it. We bought the coffee cards before knowing about this tip!

I did a solo seacation back in 2021 of 6 nights and they were doing a double points offer, so I got 24 points for a 6 night cruise which bumped me up to Emerald which was nice, and then Elite on Celebrity last year.

I am wondering if “scheme” has a different connotation in the UK. In the US it is usually seen as negative. As in, “the con artist’s scheme was foiled.”

We love our status on Royal, we are not heavy drinkers, but is nice to know that wine with dinner and maybe another drink a day is paid for.

We just hit Diamond as well. If you have kids, they get to go up to your level after their first cruise and keep it for life. They also get 4 free drinks a day (just non alcoholic). Everyone gets a free 24 hours of internet and photo as well at Diamond.

Im with Crown and anchor but only second level.. itll take me a lifetime to get to the higher levels.. not all of us can afford to cruise several times a year.. im lucky to do it once every couple of years.. Also staying in a suite.. pfft again not all of us can afford that

The hardest part is getting to the higher status tiers when you can only cruise so much. Also if you gamble you can get good comps and drinks from the casino programs as well.

Brilliant information and Many Thanks. We are Crown & Anchor and Celebrity Captain's Club members at Emerald and Selct levels and are not far from Diamond and Elite. I never checked out the perks before and after your video, went online to check them out. I certainly will take advantage. Just one quick question. For instance, I usually purchase internet before the cruise. Should I wait until I am on the ship to obtain the discount or shoul you phone or email the C & A to prepurchase at a discount? I am too late for our next cruise, as we purchased everything in advance.

This is a great perk with RCL we are Diamond off on Ovation on Thursday to Tasmania so we don't buy a drinks package just a coffee card. We are on Celebrity Eclipse next month they matched our loyally we are Elite so we are excited about that.

Hello love your videos . On loyalty with RCCL we will be diamond after our next cruise. What isn't talked about is how much money you need to spend to get to Diamond. You should look at this. Is 4 drinks worth having to be at least 80 nights at sea to be Diamond status to get this perk. It all comes down to your budget and how much you can afford and how fast to get to this status. For us and what we could afford took ten years.
