Chevrolet also made a Cabover called the Titan. GMC had the General and Brigadier Chevrolet had the Bison and the Bruin. Nice Astro 95.

I love the old GMC trucks, I grew up next to a dealership, almost everyday I could hear the scream of many 2 strokes.

i'm not even a truck driver but i want to own a cabover semi one day. i don't know why but i love them. Rare to see in the U.S. nowadays but when you see one it's a treat.

There are quite a few cabovers still in revenue service. One well-known example is "Orwell", an '82 Peterbilt 362. It's the star of the #FSCTrucking channel on YT.

It looks a lot better and more attractive than the first GMC astro cabover. It's sad GMC stopped building them and general semi. 🙁🥺

I got 82 gmc astro 95 with the 400 Cummins and i also have a 77 general with a 350 Cummings :)

@@bertgrau3934 it drove all the way home. Smokes and burns oil and needs lots but it’s the first one I’ve ever got my hands on. No idea what I’m going to do with it yet

Well, if you need someone to teach you how to drive it, I'm a 48 year veteran long haul driver and trainer. I've always loved Astro's. Many years ago I drove the GMC General with a 2 cycle Detroit. Pretty loud, but fun.@@atpmonstergarage

@@eddygoodwin7089 Well I haven’t seen one for sale anywhere in Canada lately so I’m starting at $10,000 if somebody wants this one. Has the air ride and the wet kit and fires up every time
