Hi, we are Stephen, Jess, Hunter and baby Koa - an Australian family who have had quite the journey. After travelling the world as a couple in 2020 we had our very first baby, we then spent the following year self-converted a van before moving into it full-time to drive around Australia. Cut to 2023 we welcomed our second child Koa into the world before resuming full-time travel around the world.

Come north to the eastern Washington state area. We're right up against the Idaho panhandle and minutes from Montana from here. Plus the summer average temperatures are in the 90s Fahrenheit all summer. ❤ Evergreen trees and all the lake's you can imagine. Plus, there's free camping all over the place.

I still remember a few years back searching flights during covid and coming across your channel as you had an upload where you were flying out of Sydney for the first time post you know what. It's so strange because I wanted to binge it all over again and now I see you have another van 😃😃😃😃 for people around the world that don't get the opportunity to do what you're doing this is amazing. I get to live through you and I also have a little boy so it's nice to see that travel can still be done with small kids. I can't wait to see all the destinations you guys go to. This has likely already been commented, but don’t forget to look into an annual National Park a pass if you haven’t already. It will save you all quite a bit if you plan to visit multiple parks. Also, you might check the rules on filming in National Parks. I believe it is ever changing and might put a hiccup in your plans. ❤. Also, there are state Parks and National Parks. Both usually have RV parking at a discount (at least they do in Florida). Have a great trip, we will be watching!

Love National Parks! Recommend a park passport if you plan on visiting a few. My kids love collecting the stamps. Also the Jr Ranger program is awesome! Many parks have a “little kid” book, Hunter does a few activities (with your help) and you turn it in at the end of your visit and get a cool pin to collect.

Dont forget to get badges for the kids at the visitor center they have a great kids program where they collect badges and pins at national parks in the U.S.

@flyingthenest there is so much that comes to mind but our latest find was Leavenworth, WA. It's a Bavarian town, super cute. Crested butte, CO for the spring flowers. I loved seeing the saguaro cacti down in Tuscon, AZ. You may have this info, but for places to stay, we like to use iOverlander and Harvest Host!

@@flyingthenest In Humboldt County, I would go to Trinidad in the north, and drive on Avenue Of The Giants in the South. In Siskyou county, I’d go see the Smith River, and all along the coast is nothing short of stunning

Oh VERY cool! Must visit Door County in Wisconsin as well as Bayfield and the Apostle Islands in far north western Wisconsin! Also, Branson, Missouri; Mackinac Island in Michigan; the Black Hills of South Dakota; Yellowstone National Park. Park and the Tetons just to the south; Olympic National Park in Washington; the Ah-Shi-Sle-Pah Wilderness in western New Mexico; the National parks of the southwest; Bar Harbor, Maine; Williamsburg, Virginia; and soooo much more!

When I was in Utah last month in my van, Bryce Canyon had tons more snow than arches, which had basically hardly anything. And then the storm came in the other week. It was impossible to hike anywhere in Bryce, except a few of the lookouts during my trip. I’ve been to all 51 national parks in the lower 48, just be careful with needing permits for filming in national parks. Moab has become difficult for boondocking in the area, although I was able to find a horse camp for three nights about ten minutes from Arches entrance. Most of the public land in Moab has become established campsites first come first served

I really hope you make it to Door County, Wisconsin! I couldn’t believe how much of a gem it is. No real chain hotels/restaurants. Just gorgeous nature, delicious food, and kind locals!
