Love the vid you two and another me in name Dave , Going on a wild camp site wales last week of July lone wolf camp site , followed you couple for a wile maybe ? I don't think I'd be eating "chocolate" that burns instead of melting 🤣 what the hell are flakes made of these days lol. I remember the dodgy 70s flake adverts....it was basically fellatio porn with a chocolate bar 🤣 great camp and video, stunning place 👍🏻

Apparently it's all the same ingredients, just arranged differently. Either way it's gotta be better than melted chocolate lol

@@GarethZoeWildcamps hmm, just been doing some quick research, E442 replaced soy oil to bind the ingredients....E442 is a man made binder using rapeseed oil.....which is used in engine oil (and is not good for you, despite what the cooking oil companies tell us) which is possibly why it burns instead of melts. Cadburys used to use soy based binders, but changed the ingredients when it was cleared for human consumption because soy can leave a taste and can smell after a while. The testing on E442 was initially done in 1978...I'm not sure I'd be trusting chocolate that doesn't melt guys 😉

🤣🤣🤣 I'll risk it I think. A couple a month isn't going to harm anyone. Would be more worried about all the other things you consume 🤣

@@GarethZoeWildcamps I'm very careful what I consume 🤣...most of the time lol. A good rule of thumb is...if the establishment say something is suddenly bad for you, ignore them and carry on eating it...if they suddenly say something is really good for you (like they did with margarine and seed oils (basically engine/3 in 1 oil 🤣) then avoid it like the plague 😉

I was more thinking of the tap water we consume, the polluted air we breath, the meds we take, the radiation we absorb. It seems everything is bad for you no matter how hard you try 😂

I ordered some Flake after the previous video when you talked about them. Cant wait for them to arrive, its already 32C+ on a regular basis here and its just going to get worse, so some chocolate that wont melt will be great.
