My uncle took me panning for gold when I was a kid in Vermont. I remember exactly where it was. I've always wanted to go back there.

@ 21:25 an amazing picture of the canyon, beautiful would make for a good calendar photo. To bad you guys had a breakdown, but in life everything works for your own good! Looking as you all are getting some good exercise, my 96 year old neighbor still walks today and lives at home without any care, and she says the reason is for the walking. She has done all her life, used to walk 3 miles everyday though now it’s a block or two.. i think she is right i bicycle in the warmer months but in the winter I try to walk everyday or so 3 miles to stay in shape. God bless you both, but to me maybe the worlds just saying… slow down and walk a bit more… definitely can tell Wes by your breathing in the video, your heart wants you to walk more! Live long & prosper you both! Cheers to good health… and when your in the woods there is always plenty to eat, you just need to look. Plenty of good mushrooms to forage for or even. nuts and berries to eat. Those squirrels make good taco meat from what I am told. =j

Nothing worse than a break down in the North Maine Woods, you never know what you will meet in the dark woods. Good thing that Wes have such bright and shocking shirts (ha). Great job as usual.

I feel for you too I had a car breakdown In some crazy places. The best one was in the middle of a bridge in arizona in summer standing on the side of the road changing an alternator and then a battery. It's your great outlook on life and your cooperation. That help keep things like this from bringing it down and giving us all inspiration. Keep up the good work and next time. Maybe try a breakdown dance to get the truck out.

I had a breakdown up at Moosehead Lake once. Scary not knowing when you are able to get your truck back and stranded. You both are taking it quite well and level headed. Peace

If you're going to have a Breakdown, at camp is a good place for it to happen. At least you have good friends nearby. Hope you get lots of gold to pay the towing and repair bill.

Still stranded, thought that you boys where going to shady tree mechanic that ignition. There is an unlock button some where near the gear shifter in most Hondas. I had to find the one in my Accord to load it on the wrecker. I was thinking if you boys could have unlocked the transmission, you could have pushed the truck further into the campsite then load on to flatbed. Hope the food holds out. Stay positive, peace.

Wish it was a better trip for you guys. That is always rough on you mentally when things breakdown on you like that. Hope it gets better from here. See you next week.

Man run a pan or two for treasure hunting reasons alone ! Plus for our entertainment reasons. Then wood chalk first them tires, & then Climb underneath truck. Disconnect transmission lever and get that thing into natural for rolling, possible tow. Shake lever some to discover where cable connects to transmission. Toe truck fella should of known that trick. My opinion is get pressure off the transmission & truck rolled to level ground. Reconnect cable then mabe pack up camp and head out. Never turning truck off after that.

That stinks having a breakdown away from home. At least you had food and internet wasn't too far away.

My son had a Breakdown with his truck ignition and they needed two keys to reprogram the computer. And we only got one key when he bought his truck so it cost a bunch extra to get new keys made.

Communication breakdown ! The truck is probably foxed by now , but I was thinking . When you shut it off did it move forward when in park ? My wife’s suv does this and we have to rock it back and forth to get the shifter to work , then it will start ! The shifter kinda goes out of sinc and blocks everything from starting ! Good luck
