Hey guys I have had horses for years. And I am so glad Chief is doing better with his eyes. I saw him wallowing his head in the hay and had a thought.. maybe you could get him and Eddie a couple of hanging hay bags instead of the trough. That way he cant run his head up in the trough and maybe he wont get it in his eyes again. They are not too expensive at all and i think you can hang about a half bale at a time. Just tryng to help not trying to tell you guys what to do at all. I think ya'll do a terrific job with all your animals. God bless.

Glad Chief is doing better. He looks so cute. See if you can get Sean to build a hay manger for their hay so the won't be getting poked in the eyes with the hay. We built one with some left-over 2" x 6" boards and used some roll fencing to put the hay in. Just something to think about. Stay warm ❤.

You need to get it with a shovel and pitchfork, because if Dutch uses the drag behind the 4 wheeler, it won't get rid of the worms, the drag or harrow will just smear the feces around their pasture. When getting it up with the shovel, try to get an inch or more of the dirt under the feces so the worms aren't getting left behind in the ground.

Good job, Hayden! On both days. I've always told my son that no matter what he sport he plays that there is always a winner and a loser. But as long as you did your best and enjoyed yourself, then no matter what, it was a good game! Plus, you had fun with your nana and went to some yummy places to eat! Most cats are lactose intolerant & giving them milk can make them ill.

Just a suggestion for the hay so they aren't digging in it. I use hay slow feed hay bags for our horses. So, they can't dig in it & it is "A LOT" less waste!! Hay bags are easy to fill, ya just put the hay bag in a lrg trash can & add the hay to it, pull it out tie & hang it where ya want it. They do the rest. the will nibble on it for hrs!! I also weigh mine at 5#'s each. You can put in what ya want, but my vet told me our horses need 22#-25#lbs daily. so they get 15#'s of the 22 -25# overnight. When I saw Chief's eye my first thought was he must have poked it in the hay. It also controls weight gain from them over eating all day/night. But just wanted to suggest what we do, maybe it might help out. Happy to see Chief's eye doing better. God Bless Count it all Joy

Oh, no! Don't give cats milk. Cats are actually lactose intolerant (cow's milk or goat's milk). It can give them diarrhea, gas and cramps. It's a common misconception that cats can drink milk.
