I work in the parts industry and we've had HELL with all sorts of heat exchangers (mostly radiators but also intercoolers, oil coolers, and a million other things) coming out leaking, every company out there has been having issues, my suggestion would be to order 2 or 3 extra of those bricks if you can't weld that one up so you can be sure to get a good one.

As cool as that would be I don't think he'll do that considering it's his daily and it would be hard to retain all OEM features (in particular that generator mode he's so fond of). Who knows though, after all we are talking about cleetus mcfarland. Edit: took out a word used to the end after looking at my comment again. Was a bit too crass.

You have a huge following in your country’s navy, just so you know. It’s been difficult for us with COVID and spending 7 months to a year out at sea or stationed in foreign countries. Been over a year since I’ve seen my corvette, but I download as many of your videos as I can before the boat (no wifi) so I can’t stay as up to date as possible. Keep up the good work, it’s been quite a ride to see your come up and you’ve got the hearts of countless service members out here! Thank you for all you do! I think Cleetus needs to go weird, grab an early 2000's Ford Taurus wagon, and convert it into a Godzilla powered monster. If it goes well, a dragster wagon would be great for drag weeks events, think of everything you could pile in the back!

There used to be a few different draging wagons around back in the day. Wagons have mostly went away but some racers liked them for the extra wheel base weight over the rear tires. Wagons of Steel magazine had quite a few mostly Mopars over the years and some were surprisingly fast what with a 383 or 440 under the hood and some tweaks. The Magnums can be pretty quick with a 5.7 or bigger hemi being basically a Charger body with the back enclosed and we had a 57 Plymouth wagon when I was a kid that was fun to ride around in with the 315 v8 and push button automatic.

the LS, is still lacking in design & has cam/ follower probs. only decent chev i glimpsed, was, must of been a late 454. it had canted valves.. semi hemi.. i thought fk,,they finally woke up.. only good thing about chev,,there cheap..

Can confirm the 7.3l godzilla is a beast. Drove a E-350 20' uhaul packed to the roof with our shit from Denver to Phoenix in 13 hours. Passing trucks on i40 in 30mph crosswinds doin 85 without issue

If you are getting tired of automotive. Make a move over to industrial diesels earth moving, power generation, marine ect. You won't regret it there is always something new, especially if you find a good dealer to work for. Plus flat rate doesn't exist in any of the dealers I know of in my area at least.

Put it in a mid 80's era (83-88) thunderbird. I always loved that 'aero' body style. Plus it'd look pretty good next to mullet with that body style. Other benefit is it's still a fox body so should be easy to find pretty much anything you want to bolt onto it.

I live in Dearborn Michigan, home of Ford. I have every right to bash a Ford powered anything. The company owns this town and when they do a recall it's guaranteed you won't see your neighbors f-one fiddy for a couple weeks every single year. Ford motor company is the king of recalls when they throw their crap to the public then fix it later.

Right the LS motor is the best copy off of 1968 351 Windsor you've ever seen, including symmetrical intake and exhaust ports with a center thrust bearing also. Oh yeah A LS head will go on a 351 Windsor

Now what the hell is this going in?!?! Also the 7.3 pushrod came out in 2020 so it came out about 2 years ago, and the cool thing about it is they're capable of about 8 liters (in the 500 cube neighborhood) on the same architecture with a bigger bore casting, the old 6.2 SOHC from the first gen raptor is also on similar architecture, and capable of the same kinda displacement, and fun fact is also technically a hemi (hemispherical combustion chamber) Please tell me if you win the prize one it goes in something chevy lol

Hi Cleetus, heads up, alot of 7.3 engines have had valve spring issues and dropping valves. I would recommend upgrading them.
