What a blessing the storm was the last day…you made all the travel home safely…PTL! I had a similar experience in Waterloo, Iowa 2 weeks ago-going up to granddaughter’s baby shower…a blizzard had hit…flight wasn’t cancelled though…wind chill -30…20 inches of snow…had a wonder party for my great-grand on the way…flew home safely to Georgia! God was with us, too❣️🙏

I am from North Dakota and I have dealt with -60 degree wind chill and constant winter storm conditions in the winter months, so I understand the cold.

I live in Colorado Springs and we got hit super hard with that storm. The wind is what made it way worse than what we usually get. The town was shut down for 2 days and even walking to the mailbox and back was brutal with the minus temps. Glad you made it home safely and hope you're all feeling better. The high altitude can cause illness especially in little ones. Our 3 yr old granddaughter ends up sick every time they come to visit from FL.

Just so you know, you cannot catch a cold from being outside in the cold. You guys probably caught it from breathing airplane air because every time any of my family flies including myself I catch something I hope you feel better and gets safely home.

FYI-people (including babies) don’t get sick going outside in the cold. They get sick from vent inside in close quarters with stale warm air. The all the immune boosting things you can in the winter. Vitamin C, elderberry, turmeric, garlic, manuka honey, lemon, and more. You really experienced a Colorado winter! Even with very little snow, travel conditions can be brutal. Glad you had a great trip overall and got home safe 💝

Such a beautiful little baby. Keep a hat over his head and ears. It will make him feel more snug during the cooler months. It will also keel him from getting head colds and having a runny nose...even when he sleeps at night. It will nake a huge difference.

Praying with you for healing. Colorado is so dry that even with humidifiers going, it's dry. Plus, the altitude is a big hug factor. I'm from Colorado love the mountains, but boy they will dry you out. Being dry makes your sinus over compensate and make more mucus. That's how we get sick when it's cold and dry.
