We got the K20 Honda motor Volkswagen bug running

Күн бұрынwe installed our new k tuned parts to clean up the engine, fixed the air leak on the intake, installed our new high flow fuel pump and fired up the k20 swap on its own for the first time.

What did you guys do to the transmission, if anything? I'm looking into doing a k24 swap in my 64 Baja Bug and would like to use my stock tranny if possibe, I just don't want to break too much stuff if possible with all that whopping 200 hp

I'm in process of putting a k20c2 in my baja beetle. I have a low mileage engine from a 2019 donor car but do not have the ecu. Did you modify the existing ecu or get a stand alone harness and ecu? Also how much modification was made to the firewall?

at the moment its irs but will be going to a 5rib over the winter

Where did you mount the regulator? I have a 6an bung on my fuel tank to a filter and pump. Not sure where to fit the reg. I wanted to stick to a returnless system, NA.

We mounted it just under the back window. There are alot of different opinions one how to route the fuel regulator but I believe using a return line will result in more consistent/reliable fuel pressure.

We had a metal bar welded between the back bars of the roll cage and bolted that to the motor..it is shown in one of our earlier videos

it was changed from a swing axle to a irs. over the winter it will be getting a 5 rib bus tranny.

it was a 500$ motor we came across. we said lets do it and if works out well, then we would drive it and in the mean time do a full build on a k24.
