Mounting the adapter plate, flywheel and stage 4 clutch to the motor and installing it onto the transmission and adding the power steering and a/c delete kit from k tuned.

Daniel Ramonyai vw body harness from rebel wire. And k series engine harness from rywire along with their standalone fuse/ relay box. Pair that with a hondata ecu and she'll fire right up

Nice. I have a 78 Super that I'm considering swapping to a J Series. My main concern is not wanting to chop the car up and I want very strong cooling as I live in Florida.

I went to school in Florida and cannot wait to move back from Pennsylvania. I am building a ferrari kit car an am planning on replacing the MR2 engine with a well built k20 or k24. I know it will be alot of work however I just started a custom chopper shop and vintage motorcycle and car restoration shop. It is a far throw from my PhD in chemical engineering.What part of Florida do you live in? I used to live on Siesta key right on the first tun onto the island after the bridge. Nice to see another Floridian who loves to build stuff.

Always wanted RWD Honda using the FWD motor, and have had a shortened bug for field trashing in the shed, with blown engine, for the longest. ...I think I've just stumbled onto a way to scratch both itches.

Interesting build. Maybe go softer on the music though for us headphones users. Had to crank the volume to hear you talk then kept getting blasted by the music.

It's a stock engine harness from a k20 motor..stock pnd ecu with a hondata kpro v4 chip in it, and the harness for fuel pump, tach, ignition etc is a universal harness from hybrid racing

We have not installed one yet..but we will be trying to fab one on the exhaust side using the stock mount

Why do you need power steering? Vw' turn ez with out it. With that extra weight behind the axel would make the front end even lighter.

Sick now instead of 100hp it now has 150 hp. Ive always wondered why offroad racers even use V8s nowdays when you can just swap a civic motor. Baja 1000 needs underglow lights too

@@user-qs2it5jg1v thats extremely rare. 99.9% are extremely slow ricers. Only a very small percentage are actually fast, but still who wants to drive a pos economy teeenage pizza deliver boy car. Theirs a nearly every trophy truck, powerboat, drift car etc uses V8s. We superior in every way and make more power without breaking a sweat. Now go back to your xbox games kid
