Each week night, THE LATE LATE SHOW with JAMES CORDEN throws the ultimate late night after party with a mix of celebrity guests, edgy musical acts, games and sketches. Corden differentiates his show by offering viewers a peek behind-the-scenes into the green room, bringing all of his guests out at once and lending his musical and acting talents to various sketches. Additionally, bandleader Reggie Watts and the house band provide original, improvised music throughout the show. You should put your comments on CBS's Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram -- or whatever social media they have as well as on their website. Colbert and Fallon have fallen right back into the same format that's been done for decades...yawn.

I agree. But with Colbert it's a bit different, he experiences tremendous joy from interacting with his audience + we don't know how willing would be his crew to be part of this new era of talkshows. Don't know about Fallon, I don't watch him.

@@justmemadison IKR. The stale format with the host at the desk "interviewing" guests, the monologue at the beginning, sometimes a sidekick, and the annoying audience with their forced laughter. That started in the 1950s. Time for something new!

I am ok with a few people who can also interact with the staff. Because even though some games are fun with the audience. The staff being forced to be in the game because their is no audience is pretty damn great🤣🤣🤣

They can bring back the audience. Just as long as it doesn't affect the banter between the crew and James. Like you, I am a huge fan of this current format and I really hope that they listen to the fans or read the comment sections to see what the fans want to see. Just as long as the banter doesn't go away I'll be happy. Even if its only for the monologue or segments without the guests being involved will be something. I also kind of want to see more of Ian the head writter and James going back and forth sort of in a sidekick kind of way they bounce jokes off and set each other up really well. Anyways, be safe and happy viewings, take care.

I love seeing random band/crew members interact with others that they would not normally interact with, like Guillermo and Ian. They need to do some kind of scavenger hunt or other activity where they are paired up randomly and have to beat the other groups lol.

Thats the only way the suits will get the message. They dont truly care about what we're asking for. They trust what has always worked. Unless his ratings take a hit or we make it known they will, he'd probably butt heads with the network changing up the format long term.

JC Late, Late Show Team - PLEASE DO NOT CHANGE THIS FORMAT! The shows without the audience have turned out to be CONSISTENTLY the best ever. You guys have discovered something NEW and FABULOUS. If I need to start getting signatures on a petition, please let me know. I'll do it. Some of the unexpected outstanding benefits (1) instead of we the viewers getting to know / being invested in just a few personalities (James, the Band), we are not invested in AT LEAST 15 LLS staff members. Love it. More fun. (2) The audience does nothing for the HOME viewer - I realize now how much TIME it wastes waiting for the audience to stop clapping, settle down, etc., This new format gives us MORE TIME with the Late Late Show family by eliminating meaningless audience clutter. PLEASE DO NOT CHANGE THIS FORMAT. Just name what I need to do to prove popular opinion wants this format to stay!!! I'll do it. The Late Late show is now 100% better from what was already a great show!!

I couldn't agree more. The interactions with the extended cast of Writers, Camera People, Senior Vice Presidents ,the Band, etc. are TOTAL ENTERTAINMENT!! All this would be lost using the old format. Besides, audiences were pretty annoying pre-covid, and they are out-of-control-annoying now as they roll back into other Late Night Programming, post covid. I can't watch them on TV because there is no button to forward 5 second flashes thru the whooping, hollering, whistles and often times long drawn out pandering applause. And now knowing about droplet dispersion, who would even want to be an audience member anyway, gross!! PLEASE STAY AUDIENCE FREE!! Be the new wave for Late Night Shows!! Love You Guys, FINS UP!!

I was so happy to see a 15+ min monologue! Keep it up James and Crew ❤️ The others need an audience, but I think you guys set yourselves apart from the Late Night landscape by respecting the written jokes (and making it fun wether they work or not, love it when James over explains a joke to Susan), and (the best bits!) Letting lose and playing out topics, comments, and jokes amongst yourselves, no need for audience. Those long running gags (like Guillermo's swinging or fins up!) Make the show. James is great at taking witty comments from the crew and turning them into crazy af topics and fun discussions. Seriously, not like any other late night show, and I love the campy videos and sketches (still have No Lockdowns Anymore stuck in my head) but the mono is the first thing I watch in the weekday mornings before getting on with my day ❤️

Why was that whole Zarina segment giving me “end of 40 year old virgin movie vibes”... in the closing scene with the singing of the Aquarius song and colorful swirls and stuff? Such a random thought Also Zarina is a beautiful name!
