@@mela6046 I used to live in NYC where my fabric addiction started. I would walk around at lunch time and visit fabric stores. Then the addiction followed me wherever I moved. I finally had to go cold turkey and get rid of my fabrics. But the urge is always there aaaaaargh! LOL

Did you know that in the 70s and early 80s, the Philippines was the biggest textile manufacturer in the ASEAN? That a handwoven bag from Baguio in the early 80s cost, at Rustan's P800/, which was really a lot of money four decades ago and I couldn't afford to buy one, to take to Europe? Thank you for featuring them! kudos to you both.

Hey guys, I love this video because when I lived in the Philippines that was one of my favorite places to go. They always had very beautiful hand woven fabrics and I love seeing the people work there. I hope to return soon. Thank you for the videos! Those native crafts make for wonderful wedding souvenirs for guests. Table runners, placemats etc. Other regions also have their own local handicrafts. Try browsing first varied filipiniana items in the malls like Kultura in SM..
