I hope you get the incubator I’m around the same age as you and hatching chicks is one of the most fun things you can do and it’s just so cool to see the progression of your chicks from the very beginning to the very end when they’re adults. It brings me so much joy to see the veins and the movement of the chicks In the eggs!

I’m currently in Louisville Kentucky but I’m from a much smaller town here in Kentucky I grew up raising chickens and sheep but moved up here for school. I want to show my wife the amazing life skills I know when it comes to being self sufficient and not having to go to the store for everything. We are moving into our first home together with some room and outside the city limits. Your country has given rise to a lot of great poultry lines, and not just chickens. There are also several breeds of ducks and geese which came from Belgium. Those of us who are interested in aviculture owe a lot to Belgium through the ages for developing great lines. Your country's avicultural contribution is definitely something to be proud of.

Sydney Australia here!!! im on day 13 of 24 silkie eggs in my incubator. ive had chickens for over a year now but this is my first hatch. i got into chickens as rehabilitation from a heart attack. i developed a sleeping phobia and needed something to do early morning while my wife is sleeping. my most recent tests said my rehab and health is perfect right now. best decision ever.

I’m in Ohio. Started raising Cotournix Quail June 2022. Have purchased 3 batches of eggs through the year and it’s always exciting when the chicks start hatching. Love the colors of your beautiful chicken breed. I have a square styrofoam incubator and would love the visibility offered from the clear style. Also like the idea of the circulating hot air to keep the temp more even.

I’m from Wisconsin, The reason I would like an incubator is because we had a Wiesel come into our chicken coop one night and kill about 8 of our Chickens, then killing about 5 more the next night. And I would love to take some of their eggs to hatch them out because the Wiesel killed one of our brooder hens. I also learn so much from your videos and I’m thinking about building one of your small chicken tractors(from your tutorial a couple years back). So exited to see what these chicks turn into!

I am a beginner homestead, I currently raise Indian Runners and Geese and working toward getting kune kune pigs this year, would love to have a smaller incubator that I can see the chicks hatching. Our current one, although we have been able to make it work for us, we need something that is a little easier to manage for small hatches. I am from England and have just started trying to make a bigger project of chickens. I started of with six and have grown to want more as during lockdown I started watching your videos and have attempted to try and make a main flock with my friend. We have now gone from 6 to 22 hahah and we would love to have the incubator as we are looking for an incubator to hatch some silkie eggs and test the difference from a chicken hatching out to our chicken breeds. We have thankfully been able to use my aunts but I would it would be amazing to have my own to share with my friend so I can give her incubator back to her. I hope to one day start a massive breeding project with our breeds and hope to get some more exotic ones for my flock. I love your videos especially at the way you always manage to find some crazy new breed I’ve never heard of. Keep going with your amazing work!

Now I see why you're so excited. What you are teaching your children is priceless. I would love to get the incubator. I've got 2 acres, foothills of the blue ridge mountains, western SC/NC border. Property is almost paid off. My fiance died and I moved here from Texas, didn't know where home was anymore and I'm grateful to have landed here. Small cabin and a fresh start alone. God & my animals sustain me. Feeling the need to be self-sufficient. Will turn my storage shed into a chicken house. Watching everything I can on this process. You have taught me a lot. Thank you.

We just got a flock of new chickens and he has enjoyed watching KZfaq videos on all the different types of chickens and just happened to stumble upon your channel. He has been watching your videos on hatching baby birds every chance he gets (I’ve enjoyed them too). I would love to have an incubator. I was given chickens a year ago and they're laying eggs now but I started looking into other breeds and I love seeing the babies and watching the babies grow.

We are from the state of Georgia. We are starting our chicken flock this year with pre hatched chicks. After seeing your video, our 8 year old son who is homeschooled really wants to hatch his own eggs and would love having an incubator like this to do it.

Theodore is our only Roo, a Millie Fleur. He's got lots of little ladies to love on our little city chicken farm in Phx., AZ. We would love to put these fertile eggs (more than 2 dozen) in an incubator to see what we get!!! Our fertile females are Tea Cup, our Millie, Ella, our Light Brahma, Pipsqueek, our Australorp, and Cotton, our little Silkie. We hope to see if we can get some babies. Our son has learned so much already, he even fixed a babies broken toe with a homemade boot and vet tape. This farm is teaching him so much, we are all learning!!! We hope to learn so much more. Thanks for sharing your farm with us, we love your channel!!!

If you want to hatch out quail, you will need a different incubator than the one he is giving away. That one will be good for hatching out chickens, but the turning mechanism will be wrong for the much smaller quail eggs. Definitely do what he does though, and put another thermometer (or thermometers) at egg level so that you can be sure that you are incubating at the right temperature. Temperatures can also very a bit by species, and humidity levels are also critical, so read up, and make sure you have all the equipment you need to check and double check the conditions inside the incubator. Nothing like having success the first time around to keep you hooked on doing it.

I’m 12 years old from Ozark, Missouri and my family and I are getting baby chicks but I want to learn how to grow my own and let myself know that I was able to do something by myself. I would also love the feeling of hatching my own chicks and I could give them out to my friends to let them have the experience of owing chickens to let them try something new.❤

Rock Hill, SC I currently have 25 chickens. I’ve made farming and animals my passion. Watching a chick hatch from an egg laid by a chicken you raised has been such a fulfilling journey. I adore my chickens so much, I often get request for chicks. Having my own incubator will allow me to share my flock with multiple people. I hope whoever wins gets the chance to enjoy it!

I’m 18 and I live in Washington, I’ve been watching your videos and somehow you always do and get everything that I dream of! That’s why I love watching every post because you are a big inspiration for me to start my own journey with my mom to become self sufficient and build a business from our home, we recently bought 80 acres and as I graduate high school I’m going every other weekend to clear the land for living there soon. Just a simple thank you for this video, I really love watching chicks hatch. We had some phoenix hens that always pecked the eggs when they would start to pip, we would take the eggs from under her and place them under a lamp, truly an amazing sight to see.

Hello! I'm from CA and I absolutely adore chickens. My hens are getting old and I'm hoping I can hatch out babies that look like them before they die, they mean SO much to me and I don't want them to be gone forever! I love watching your chicken videos and it really helps me care for my birds better. ❤ I only have a few hens,2, and I'm also struggling to afford the eggs at the store because I only get 1 egg a day sadly! I hope I get it but I'm happy for anyone else who gets it :)

I have a few incubators. Including Gqf cabinet models. My opinion the best incubator for the money is the GQF 1588. It holds great temp has accurate temperature and humidity readings that can be calibrated. Its very quiet more than my Brinssa models. Just add a turner if you dont have time or you can fit more eggs in it bye turning manually. I have an older 1502 that I use as a hatcher so I dont have to clean multiple units. Keep your humidity between 35 and 40 % until they start to hatch. An egg needs to loose 13% of its weight so chicks have room to maneuver during the hatching process.
