hi, I watched this video and the next two about replacing thermostat housing. sorry did not fully understand what you said in this video, how did you come to the conclusion that the leak is from thermostat housing?

It was tough to show on camera becuase it was in such a tight spot, but I was able to see it dripping out of the housing. I was barely able to stick my hand down there as well to feel the coolant coming out of the housing as well to confirm that it was leaking. For mine, the coolant would puddle up around the bell housing/top of the transmission. It stinks!! Thanks for watching!

I have coolant going somewhere. I can smell it outside the car when it has ran. The leak is very slow and I never any signs of coolant so it must be burning off somewhere under the hood. Butttt, yes everything is tightly cramped in these tiny cute but painful to own cars. Any ideas for where I may need to check?

Ahh sorry to hear that!! Yeah, it’s really tough to figure out exactly where the coolant comes from. On mine, I could see coolant puddling on top of the transmission which is right below that thermostat housing. Just use a nice and bright flashlight and slowly look over everything until you see some coolant puddling.. you’ll find it!
