I also wanted to get one Kirara and I had like 30 pulls and 0 pity. I had everyone on the banners but Kirara. 3 10-pulls later, I got 1 Kuki, 1 XL, 1 lion's roar, and... not one but *2 EARLY CYNOS* (pity 5 and 25 respectively). Had to do 3 singles to get the cat, making a total of 33. I got 2 5*s before the 4*. And you might think this is a cautionary tale about risking it for the snipe, and it totally is, but here's the plot twist. Joke's on you, I'm actually a Cyno main and it was part of my plan! I played cosmic 4D chess and managed to jebait the RNG into giving me the cheapest accidental C2 Cyno. So if you think about it, this was actually super lucky and disgusting because I did want the 5*s and I did get nyancat in the end

It’s stated in really small text that you can get just the 5* in a ten pull (4* is guaranteed in a ten pull without 5*) It’s rare but it happens 😭

In order to rules of wishing banner, 5* can replace 4*, but if 4* overcome hard pity (just like in this case) it's guaranteed that in the next pull you'll 100% get that 4*. He got Ayato as the last item in 10 pull, but didn't get any 4*, so it means that 4* hard pity has been overcome, because Ayato as 5* replaced it. So according to the rules described above, the next one pull must 100% have 4* character, that's why in the next ten pull first character he got was 4* Xiangling
