Sadly this generation are teaching what they were taught and seems to be bullying everywhere. We had the sweetest local 12yo hang themselves because of bullying!

When ever people ask me about chickens or ducks, I always refer them to MaryCarl at Cog Hill. And they always seem amazed that I refer them to a young girl. I just tell them to watch the videos, and listen to what she has to say. Smart young lady.

I love miss MaryCarl. She is proud of her ducks,chickens and pidgins. She really takes ownership seriously. Peaches makes the sweetest noises when you are scratching and massaging her back. You are all great and I love the love you have for all the animals at cog hill 40

Rain, wind, snow or whatever weather comes each day, The animals have to be taken care of. So very glad you have gotten all of your outlets in and all the water lines complete. You have raised her to know how and why she should take care on her animals. That is so very important for children in this day and time.

MaryCarl is a special person. It is so rare for a young person to take on a responsibility such as caring for birds without being constantly reminded of that. She is a self motivated person. A rarity in this day and age. I suspect that comes along with parents who are guiders too.

Mary Carl THANK YOU for the video!!! I have to remind myself she is only 11 yrs old. Her knowledge is unbelievable. I love all the information she shares. She has a gift I dont think she realizes. Her passion and work ethic is sa rare for a child her age. I was really having a horrible morning and in a bad funk and this made me smile and turned my attitude around. Jason & Brook and Granny you have done an amazing job letting this little sweetheart spread her wings. She is so talented!

It is so amazing you are raising your daughter like this. I have 3 daughters, 8 4 and 7 months and i pray one day sooner than later they will be living the farm life and learn these skills and such independence and find their own interests in certain areas of the farm and be as interested and dedicated as MC is with her chickens. Yall are amazing parents and are raising a child that will be able to hold her own no matter what the world turns into.

One thing I LOVE about you guys and your farm is how clean you keep your animals and their surroundings. Of all the farms I follow, I believe yours is the cleanest!!! As a sometimes treat y’all should get Mary Carl some minnows for Mary Carl to put in her little duck pond! It would give them protein and a fun game for game for them to catch the minnows!! Such a good job education will bring great results later on in your life. It is so important to teach your children to be responsible owners. That is one hard working little lady. I try to instill that into my 2 sons as well. If you want a puppy, rabbit, Bearded Dragon, ext. then you have to take care of it...I will always be here to help, but the majority goes to them, They do well but Miss MaryCarl takes the cake.

MaryCarl has the gentlest touch when handling her various flocks. Her conversation with her animals, although often silent, speaks to the animals. It’s a telepathy unlike any I have ever seen. MaryCarl speaks love to them all.

Jason. You should invent a pole or t post with back stop to hold the pools on their side to help rinse. Especially on windy days I searched for something but there was nothing out there lol. Love the channels and your family including your farm family!!

The new ending with the music and video of the animals is one of my favorite parts. I like when you do that in the middle parts too. The music is beautiful. I'm so proud of your whole family. Mallow and Mochi look like stuffed animals! Goodness, they are beautiful....but not as beautiful as Mary Carl! That child is such a gift to us all. Jason, my chickens are 3 years old and, up to now, have always used their roost at night. Up until this fall. I have no idea why but they all are roosting in their laying boxes! Ugh! Nothing has changed for them to explain why, except they’re older. 🤷‍♀️
